The woman has lost her mind after her son’s tragic death and out of guilt, she begins to punish her and asks her husband to hit her whilst making love under a tree. The two actors are completely nude and the scene has such raw devastating power that you won’t dare to look at it. That’s the power of Lars Von Trier, my friends!
