About this deal

Spending a long time in the spot does seem(from my limited experience) lower the drop rate. Spending some time outside the zone doing something else do seem to help a lot. a b c d Patton, Rebecca (14 December 2018). "Will 'The Protector' Return for Season 2? The Fantasy Series Is a First for Netflix". Bustle. Archived from the original on 9 June 2019 . Retrieved 15 May 2019. Another sweltering month in Charlotte, another boatload of mysteries past and present for overworked, overstressed forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan. Harry Bosch and the Lincoln Lawyer team up to exonerate a woman who’s already served five years for killing her ex-husband. Bhaskaran, Gautaman (22 December 2018). "Review: Turkish Netflix drama 'The Protector' a let-down". Arab News. Archived from the original on 1 August 2019 . Retrieved 26 December 2018.

There is nothing to dislike in this story as it is well thought out period novel giving a good balance of the violence, lewdness and general stink of the times. Some violence and some sex but none that I felt was out of context of the story. Burçin Terzioğlu as Rüya Erdem / Cavidan, Faysal's wife / love interest (guest: seasons 1 and 4; main: seasons 2–3) The most richly accomplished of the brothers’ pairings to date—and given Connelly’s high standards, that’s saying a lot. Both Marwood and Cat have mysteries to uncover. Yet they are walking a fine line as their activities could easily lead to them being charged with treason. From the acclaimed author of the Pierce Hunt series comes a thrilling novel featuring a Secret Service agent who takes on a ruthless foe to protect the country he serves and the woman he loves. Cat will not be alone in her endeavors and allegiance to the Cromwell family as she is reunited with an “old friend,” who is none other than James Marwood, a traitor’s son turned government agent. Cat and Marwood initially met during the Great Fire 18 months prior and since then have become indebted to each other through successive adventures of peril and intrigue. If you would like to learn more about them, I recommend reading the previous three entries in this stellar series: THE ASHES OF LONDON, THE FIRE COURT and THE KING’S EVIL. You will not be disappointed.

Adam Macqueen’s gripping debut novel is based on a provocative counterfactual question: what if Jeremy Thorpe and his associates had succeeded in murdering Norman Scott in 1975, rather than his dog Rinka? Macqueen’s youthful protagonist, sex worker turned reluctant investigator Tommy Wildeblood, is drawn into a grim narrative of exploitation and secret subterranean worlds, as he attempts to discover a murderer’s identity. Macqueen depicts his grim milieu engagingly – the 70s have seldom seemed so grotty and threatening – and this very English scandal has wit and invention to spare. Based on certain historical facts Andrew Taylor has woven a gripping tale of plots, favours and the sheer wretchedness of life for women, servants and the underclass. Learn about the Bawdy House riots, the half-life of the last Protector, the mazer-scourers, and how absolutely foul people can be to others. Andrew Taylor does such a brilliant job of bringing the streets (and the sewers) of Restoration London vividly to life. I loved this novel and appreciated his Historical Note following the text that highlighted the historical events that he incorporated into the story. He also provides at the start a very useful list of the main and supporting characters and their occupations.Taner Ölmez as Burak, a young man who helps Hakan and the Loyal Ones; Zeynep's love interest (seasons 3–4)

Funda Eryiğit as Nisan Türk / Valeria, a chemist, first Immortal, and grand vizier; Hakan and Harun's love interest. (seasons 3–4) After being with Air Rescue, Special Agent Clayton White now works for the Secret Service on the protection detail of the Vice President Elect's daughter, Veronica Hammond. Veronica is a world renowned archaeologist who has perfected an aerial app called Drain that could foil a plot headed, in part, by her father. Clayton and Veronica are in love, and that isn't the only thing keeping the two of them apart. When an attempt on her life is foiled, Veronica and Clay are thrown into the middle of international espionage and a complicated cover-up.

These stories are set in the 1600's, and therefore, we have the rebuilding of St. Paul's Cathedral, and the completion of the Dragon Yard to look forward to!! I do hope there are more adventures in store. a b "Netflix renews contract for Turkish series 'Protector' ". Hürriyet Daily News. 5 December 2018. Archived from the original on 24 December 2021 . Retrieved 27 December 2018. Once again, readers who might enjoy being transported to the sights, sounds, and even smells of this fascinating period of British history will enjoy the book. The key characters of Cat and Marwood, introduced at the start of the series are again vividly brought to life as their stories intertwine and separate as events threaten to engulf them both. A perfect blend of fact and fiction makes this a most enthralling read. I really enjoyed it, although I haven't read any of the previous books in the series, that didn't present a problem.
