Amazing quality. Our family didn't need a super-fancy air purifier, so this fan worked out great for our needs. The extended timer (up to 9 hours) is a great feature for the purpose stated above. I do wish Dyson had implemented the timer and rotating function buttons onto the base in the event the remote becomes usable. To me, that's a pretty big "miss", given the limited functionality of the fan. Everything else about the fan is great including the ease to put it together. Overall, a solid product as one would expect from Dyson. Also. This fan is noisy but only on the higher speed - but it’s not the annoying noisy that you can’t hear anything else- it’s manageable and doesn’t buy me like other fans I have had.

The engineers at Dyson have created the AM07 tower fan to be quieter and more energy efficient then its forerunner, the AM02 Tower Fan. Even though the AM07 Dyson tower fan runs more efficiently, it still produces the same powerful, cooling air. The air channels in the Dyson quiet fan have been reconfigured to reduce airflow turbulence making it operate at a quieter level then the AM02. The bottom of the loop on the AM07 tower fan has been enlarged to allow for more air to flow into the amplifier which allows for less turbulence, and makes the fan run quieter. The Dyson quiet fan has an aerodynamic diffuser which creates separated airflow into controlled paths which makes for a more efficient journey for the air to the loop. It oscillates at 90 degrees which is a fairly decent range, capable of covering a whole room and with that built-in ionization function we’ve already discussed you can also minimize air born allergens and so protect your family. A: Dust can accumulate in even the cleanest of homes, so it’s important that you keep on top of cleaning your Cooling Fan. What you don’t want to have to do is dismantle your fan to do this.
