New westbound slip road to provide access to the new westbound A66 dual carriageway for local farms and properties to the south of the A66 in this location Construct a compact, grade-separated, full-movement junction with a similar shape and size as proposed in autumn We're realigning A63 exit slip roads, westbound and eastbound and on Brighton Street roundabout for improved safety at the junction, leading to safer journeys.
Based on 1991-1994 experience collected from UK insurance companies, published in CMI Report 17,1999. The work will be carried out in 9 phases using traffic lights and convoys to take vehicles through the work area safely. There will be a 40 mph speed limit in place for safety as traffic will be running on temporary road surface during the day. We’ll be carrying out essential maintenance work on Railway Triangle East and West Bridges near South Killingholme, which carry the A180 over railway lines. We’ll replace the parapets and safety barrier on the north and west verges resulting in safer journeys for road users.

The outside lane will also be closed on the southbound carriageway in this area, along with the junction 46 northbound entry slip. Add an additional lane within the extents of the northern bridge cross section on the circulatory carriageway with amended lane road markings on either side of the bridge. Concrete barriers significantly reduce the risk of vehicles crossing over from one carriageway to another, improving safety and reducing the duration of incident-related congestion.
