How to choose the best protein shaker for you What’s the difference between plastic and metal shakers? Because of the unique dual-compartment system, the bottle was somewhat difficult to clean. The smaller, 12-ounce side requires a long scrub brush, as our tester noted, after a failed attempt to reach in with his hand to manually clean this side of the bottle.
