About this deal

We never noticed any problems with dropping signals or internet instability, and we didn't come across even a hint of latency either. There's no doubt that this kit is going to improve Wi-Fi coverage in the majority of homes, but whether or not it's going to improve it to the extent that it justifies its cost really depends on how your property is configured and the sort of home Wi-Fi network you've already got in place. If you already use a mesh system like we do, you might not see huge speed gains. Please keep in mind that we are available for any future questions or concerns, so please reach out to our technical support team here: Chat with Us . This will allow us to gather more details on the description of the issue you are experiencing directly, especially on more complex and targeted situations.

Former TV title winners Daryl Gurney, Mensur Suljovic and Stephen Bunting were among the names to prevail in the ET13 qualifier, while William O’Connor posted a magnificent 108 average to secure his place in October’s showpiece. The new design aside, on the inside, the ZenWiFI Pro ET12, as a single router, is similar to all other Wi-Fi 6 routers from the company.

The Adaptive QoS is a common feature available in all Asus routers and is one of the most easy-to-use QoS features among all home routers. It’s worth noting that having the same number of streams doesn’t mean the routers are of the same hardware specs. That depends on their bands and Wi-Fi standards. Had the arris s33 throughout all this where my networking box is along With said routers as I didn’t have a switch and had to use the extra lans to supply wired internet throughout home. If your engineers are convinced that Samsung is doing something wrong, it would be helpful if they would work with Samsung directly to find a solution, rather than make your customers do all the work. Or at the very least, provide some technical detail as to what is different in the child node's "handshake" that might cause the Samsung tablet to fail. They're obviously not exactly the same and would give us some ammunition for working with Samsung if ASUS is not willing to do it themselves. b. Replacing Cox Gateway (deactivate router but keep the fiber ONT) with 2 Wi-Fi Mesh ASUS Wi-Fi routers. This mesh kit consists of two fairly large nodes at 4.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches tall. The top few inches is an acrylic housing for eight external antennas. Four antennas at the corners stand straight up, while the other four are at 45-degree angles. This should ensure good coverage in multi-story homes, as well as on the same level as the router itself. With 10 total antennas listed, it's safe to assume ASUS has put the 2.4GHz antennas inside the main housing.

ASUS claims my issue is a hardware issue and has asked me to RMA it. I don't believe that's the case since I can swap the child for the parent node and get the same results ... I connect fine to the parent but not the child. However, this will make you lose the 6GHz band for your client devices and turn the ZenWiFi Pro ET12 into a dual band solution with 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands- something that almost all other and much cheaper routers are capable of. That’s not to say that you’ll lose all other features the device has to offer but if you are interested in the new Wi-Fe 6E capabilities, make sure you connect the ET12 units over a wired network. Software features For now, in my trial, that was not possible yet. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t link them together. The AiMesh setup process would just fail every single time. And I tried many times. Access point (AP) mode: As a system, an AiMesh setup can work in the access point mode— not to be confused with an individual router’s AP mode. In other words, you can use an entire AiMesh system (consisting of multiple nodes) that works solely as a network/Wi-Fi extension on top of an existing (third-party) router. Among other things, it helps avoid the use of double NAT.

By default, this mesh is configured with the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands under the same SSID with the 6GHz band as a separate SSID. In attempting to connect to 6GHz, the phone would report no internet connection and disconnect. A Windows 11 PC with a 2x2 Wi-Fi 6E card connected without issue. As a standalone router, its default 2.5Gbps WAN always works as the WAN port, there’s no way to change this.
