About this deal

The drying process retains vitamins and minerals needed to maintain health and keep your pet’s coat shiny

A delicious high fibre source, ideal for many small animals including: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. Providing plenty of natural high fibre forage is important in maintaining a healthy digestive system and good wear for your pet’s teeth. Friendly ReadiGrass is made exclusively from Friendship Estate's own fields in the heart of Yorkshire and offers a delicious fibre source to keep your small animal healthy. Their drying process removes only the water – keeping the natural flavour, wonderful smell, colour and high nutrient value of fresh grass. Benefits of Friendly ReadiGrassI use both the readigrass and the Timothy hay - they are both excellent - my guinea pigs love it, also I noticed when I bought other hay it made them sneeze, Friendship’s readigrass and Timothy hay does not do this. Also I find it very clean and dust free and makes my life easier too when cleaning them out. So I highly recommend it ... also one of my guinea pigs is now 7 years old which is very old for a guinea pig and she has the shiniest coat and runs around so it must be good! You could also try growing your own pots of herbs or even some wildflower seed mixes which contain rabbit safe plants. Even though grass is a natural food source a rabbit's digestive system is incredibly sensitive and new foods should always be slowly introduced over a matter of days. As Readigrass is cut and dried all year round, the cut can vary from a very rich, totally leafy dark green grass to a mixed green/light green mostly stalky cut. We are happy to advise which cut is currently available if you have any queries. Friendly Green Oat ReadiGrass is a delicious alternative to dried grass or hay and can add variety to your pet’s diet. It is suitable for: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. Good quality forage, dried grass, timothy, green oat or hay should form the major part of the diet of these animals.

I can’t rate Readigrass highly enough. It is excellent for keeping weight on my 27 year old warmblood. The quality is so much better than the cheaper brands (which he won’t eat) and it is worth every penny. A weekend delivery service and a Priority Dispatch service for urgent items is also available to the mainland uk.

Good to know Short chopped - making it easy for older horses to chew which prevents quidding and unnecessary wastage. Market leading ReadiGrass is the original dried grass made exclusively from British pastures. A unique production process ensures that the grass retains a high feed value and is significantly more nutritious than hay. Thank goodness for readigrass!!! My bunny won’t eat hay or grass, and I had bought 8 different brands of different types of hay in an attempt to get her to eat hay to no avail. By chance I read about readigrass and how even the fussiest rabbit would eat it and decided to try the green oat readigrass and I am so happy my bunny happily ate it. Thank you!!! Normal lawn grass is generally totally safe for your rabbits however if your bunny isn't used to eating grass then it should be introduced to their diet slowly.

We've bought Friendly Readigrass for years now for our rabbits. They've always been fussy, and we've used a lot of expensive hay as bedding when they've turned their noses up, but this Readigrass is always eaten with gusto. Highly recommended A rabbit's natural instinct is to graze, mainly at dusk and dawn with grass often being their number one choice. Alfalfa ReadiGrass is made exclusively from our own fields in the heart of Yorkshire. It's fibrous stalks and delicious leaves provide appetising variety for many small animals. Rich in protein and calcium, it is ideal for pregnant, nursing and young small animals, whilst also providing a tasty treat for mature animals. Benefits of Friendly Alfalfa ReadiGrass So I'm guessing that pet rabbits probably need lower protein levels than wild ones. But it probably also depends on how much exercise they get, whether they have twigs to gnaw, how many pellets you give, what food they're used to and the breed of rabbit (apparently smaller breeds may have higher energy requirements). This grass is brilliant and smells good. My rabbits love it. Also if one is poorly/recovering I always leave this grass out for them and I guarantee it's the first food they'll sniff and start to eat.
