The H7120i has some of the best cable routings you can find inside a PC case, allowing you to keep the innards of your rig looking clean. Being able to install up to a 360mm radiator on the front and up top provides enough choice depending on what else you plan on installing inside the chassis. It's also handy if you plan to go the custom route with a loop of your own.The H710 and H710i are two of the H-series PC cases that are well-known for their high build quality, durability, ease of setup, and affordability. Otherwise, the H710i features a lot of the same features as the NZXT H700i. All NZXT cases with an external USB Type-C connector will require a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector on the motherboard. While there are adapters that exist to allow you to convert a Gen 2 cable to work with a Gen 1 connector, we do not recommend the use of these adapters as they can lead to compatibility or reliability issues. After giving it much thought, we decided on performing noise tests with each PC Case we receive by placing our ExTech HD600 vertically on top of each case to measure the noise levels emanating from the pre-installed fans at both 50% and 100% with the help of a fan controller (if the case doesn't have one, we use our own). Building a PC can be a difficult task. Every small detail, from the processors to the RAM, must be scrutinized. The computer case is one area that many people overlook, and however, it is one of the most important decisions you will make when building your PC. And behind the motherboard is where NZXT's years of experience truly shine. The cable management with this case (and other NZXT H7 series cases) is in a league of its own. It's exceptionally good and makes it possible for even novices building their first computers to put together a tidy rig. Due to potential airflow restrictions, we only recommend using a two-slot or thinner card when vertical mounting in the H710i.
This is the best-looking H710i case, period.
The NZXT H7 Flow is capable of handling not one, but two 360mm radiators — one on the front and another up top. The rear panel has a 140mm fan and radiator mount, atop of seven horizontal PCI slots. There aren't any vertical slots with the NZXT H7 series. Finally, we've got the single tempered-glass window panel, which showcases everything instead within the case. In total, the H710i has room for up to seven 2.5-inch drives and two 3.5-inch drives, but not all at the same time. At the bottom of a case is a hard drive cage that can hold either two 3.5-inch drives or four 2.5-inch drives. Two more 2.5-inch drives can mount behind the motherboard tray.
As mentioned above, both the NZXT H710 and H710i PC case models have the same SGCC steel and tempered glass side panels, which act as a window into the interior of the PC cases.The H710 is pretty much the same case as the H700, and we liked the H700 well enough (note the omission of the -i). It’s not the best-cooled chassis in the world, but it has SOME ventilation and it comes with four fans, and those four fans go a long way towards making up for the flat steel front panel. NZXT makes solidly-constructed cases that look good and are easy to build in, they listen to criticism, and sometimes they act on it. The biggest problem that remains is the price.
