Yakuza serves as comic relief most of the time, but there seems to be some hidden potential to him which has yet to be revealed. As the name already hints, this is about a gamer. It's a pretty old Manhwa and has around 400 chapters and is in its 5th season. It's still pretty popular, but the comments let me know that it's mostly out of habit and hasn't been interesting for quite some time. I wanted to read this for this essay, but didn't manage to go past chapter 12. It's not too bad, but it has a lot of explaining and worldbuilding, but in general it feels way simpler than these other stories, who probably need to make a big impact right from the start to get even remotely successful. It's been a while since I posted one of these, the reason is that I've been very busy IRL but I also needed to read more Manhwa to make a new list. Another thing I decided is to let go of the old System of "Plot - Powers - Rating" and to describe my recommendations more as I see fit for the specific subgenre I'm talking about.

Baek Chaerin is the Alpha bitch from his class and seems to be no better than the rest of the bullies at first, but for some reason she is not as cruel as the rest of them and since she's featured on the cover a lot, it's fair to assume that she ends up being a good guy. Today's topic is Quests in Real Life but without portals or a tower. It's more like the Main character has a gaming interface/quests while otherwise living in a perfectly normal world. The three Manhwas on this list are Quest Supremacy/Questism , IRL Quest and Ultra alter. I'll also talk about The Gamer, Dice and the Manga Darwin's Game While I will mark major spoilers, please keep in mind that this whole thread needs to have some spoilers by default. Pretty girl A or Joo Ah-Rin is a girl from MCs class who treats him nicely, in contrast to everyone else. She seems to be a little weird though, which is revealed over time. Other readers call her "sus", but in the first chapter we got some inner thoughts of her, so I assume she's a good girl at the moment. She went to the same elementary School as MC, but doesn't seem to remember him. MC remembers, but that doesn't stop him from simping for her regardless. I got asked a few times, if I quit doing these. While I appreciate that you like them, I don't want to pump these out just for the sake of it. You might've noticed that I didn't even collect 5 stories of a specific topic this time, it's because I just didn't want to read the gamer and dice - they were too long. I know this isn't read by many people, but I decided to still keep doing these from time to time. This time I just happened to find three Manhwas who shared this common trait at the same time. MC starts out as your average Korean bully victim, small and powerless without anything going for him except a caring mom in his case. He has a sister, too, but she doesn't seem to be particularly fond of him. He's awkward and timid, but grows along with the powers he gets. He also has a best friend, a guy named Yakuza who looks like he's in his 40s. Because every plot point from Questism is amped up to eleven here. Bullies in Questism are a little reasonable? Well here they are not. In Questism there is a meeting of some Bully Gangleaders? IRL Quest features a straight up council held in a secret place with votes and everything. Questism has 1 Waifu? IRL Quest has 2! And MC doesn't need to grow in IRL Quest, he's average looking from the start. Even the art seems to be a little more refined. Which was wondering me, IRL Quest reminded me more of "How to fight" than Questism does (probably because MC has the same Haircut as Hobin). And if MC rejects a Quest in IRL Quest he doesn't lose his powers - he gets brutally tortured by the system instead.
