When you accept the terms and conditions of this Licence Agreement, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe BV (“Licensor”) shall immediately grant you (the "Licensee" meaning either an individual or a single entity) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferrable licence to use the Software and/or the Documentation on the terms of the Agreement. Licensor grants Licensee a license to use one copy of the Software on one or more computers connected to an original “KYOCERA” printer, copier or multifunctional device. Use means any permanent or temporary use of the Software and includes the storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying of the Software or the processing of any data contained therein. The Software may not be used on any other hardware unless such use is granted by a separate license agreement. Licensor reserves the right to take legal action for breach of this condition There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

This license does not affect any further obligations of Licensee normally owed in the course of business. The cramped two-line display and scattering of buttons makes the on-screen menu system something of a nightmare to navigate, so it’s just as well there are so few features to access anyway. It would have been useful if the Kyocera companion app for iOS and Android allowed you to toggle between the print modes, but it doesn’t. Instead, you must persevere with the printer’s old-fashioned interface. Držitel licence je povinen zkontrolovat, zda software nemá zjevné vady. Zjevnou vadou se rozumí vada, která je zjevná průměrnému držiteli licence. Pokud poskytovatel licence není o takových vadách vyrozuměn do 14 dnů od stažení softwaru, záruka zaniká.

Options and Consumables

If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store. The Kyocera ECOSYS P2040dw looks and feels well put together and it has obvious strengths. There are few laser printers that can beat it for speed or image resolution. It is compact and although the initial cost is high, the long term cost is lowered by its efficient use of toner and long life components. But despite the 1,200dpi resolution, we found the print quality was merely average and rather too pale when it came to photos and mixed image documents to compete with similarly priced laser printers.
