After-treatment: As a further precautionary measure to prevent the growth of algae and the penetration of water, a final impregnation with Lithofin Splash-Stop or Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier is recommended. Lithofin ALGEX - 1 LITRE. (Algaecide) is a special product from the LITHOFIN-range. It is a water-soluble cleaning concentrate based on high quality surfactants. Neutral and free of chlorine and acid. Anything very abrasive. Porcelain is tough and scratch resistant, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get scratched at all. Avoid going at it with anything like steel wool or a steel brush. These might also leave particles in the grout which would oxidise, causing discolouration.After use, remove sprayer and rinse well with water. Close bottle with child-proof cap. This is expressed as a percentage of the total weight. So, a result of 1% means that when fully saturated, 1% of a stone’s weight will be water. As a guide, paving such as porcelain is usually less than 0.5% porosity, granite is around 0.5%, sandstone and limestone are in the region of 1-3% and concrete, 6% Lithofin Algex is a special cleaner for exterior surfaces. Lithofin Algex by its own action removes normal contamination, general dirt and certain types of vegetable staining from terraces, paths, steps,walls, facades, roofs, fences etc. Lithofin Algex Special Cleaner does not contain either chlorine or acid and is suitable for most surfaces.
