The fan has three speed settings and an oscillation selector for optimal air velocity and control. When using an 18V LXT® 5.0Ah battery (BL1850B, sold separately), users get up to 8.2 hours of continuous run time on the high speed setting, 12 hours on medium speed, and up to 17.5 hours on the low speed setting.

Please note this is a body only machine, no battery or charger is included as standard - please see the accessories tab for these items. When used with a 18v 4.0ah battery the run time would be 20.2 hours (low) / 11.4 hours (medium) / 9.3 hours (high). The DCF203Z has three settings for optimal air velocity control. It can be powered by Makita® 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries or an AC adapter.
