There are many variations of the traditional Cuban mojito recipe. So if you do not have easy access to some of the traditional ingredients, you can use an alternative ingredient. If you do not like rum or have any available, you can even make your mojito with gin or tequila. However, I have only made the gin version and made the mojito with tonic water instead of soda water. You will find many variations onlineif you love a dark rum mojito recipe or prefer to use different alcohol.
