About this deal

I suppose the most rewarding application is to set up some "complex" delay/reverb patches (chaining more than one effect)... It's also important to know if patches can be run simultaneously, and if so, how many. For example, on modern delay units like the Boss DD-500 you can run two patches in series or parallel. This sort of functionality is even more important on a multi-effect.

If you want to try an updated version that's a bit better with some of the MS-60B effects, get it here, but you have to have the latest Java Runtime Environment installed.MS-50B: Vice-versa with the 50B, this is a bass-based unit, with most guitar-based FX and amp sim modules missing. Mono in, stereo out.

If you are installing any DRIVE and AMP effects on the MS-70CDR, you MUST install the file "CMN_DRV.ZDL" on your MS-70CDR. This is the "Common Drive" file that you won't see on your pedal's menus, but it is needed for Drive and Amp files to work. my biggest worry when i bought the pedal was that it will be extremely awkward to use. I'm very pleased to report that it is very intuitive, I got the hang of it almost instantly with no manual reading, I still had to take out the booklet to understand how to make an effect chain and how to tap tempo, but other than that very intuitive. Lets say you are new to effects. You don't have much of an idea about them and you'd like to know what they do and sound like. The Zoom MS-70CDR can store a total of 50 user presets with effect settings. Out of the box it ships A parameter is like a knob or switch on a pedal. Each effect can have up to 9 parameters, which you can adjust to alter the sound of the effect. These settings are saved with your patch in the memory of the multistomp.

The MS-70CDR is even a stereo processor, although you can use it with a mono signal. It runs either Zoom firmware editor for changing the patches on the MS-60B and MS-70CDR (also on the MS-50G, but Zoom also has their Effect Manager tool for the MS-50G).

If you follow the links below and end up buying, we get a small commission which helps to keep thisIt's a useful pedal, it's nice to have one, as long as you know the limitations and don't expect it to do what it can't do... I have it, but I don't use it much to be honest. influenced by big name pedals from well-known manufacturers, and in many cases you get very close to MS-100BT: (discontinued, but still available) makes both bass and guitar effects available in one pedal, all effects must be loaded via StompShare app, a bit time-consuming, (might take a few hours) but once their in, you’ll never have to do that again.

Remove effects that are similar to each other. Here are some ideas, up to you what you want to keep or get rid of. I suggest testing them and letting your ear decide. This applies to the MS-70CDR but the same general idea goes for the other pedals too. MS-100BT (discontinued): stereo in/out, Bluetooth connectivity with an iOS app (no Android or USB editing though), wide range of effects, works for guitar and bass. Can use 6 effects at once; comes with 100 effects.

DYNAMIK / FILTER

Of course, the most important thing is how good the pedal sounds. Though this is somewhat subjective, most budget multi-effects these days will sound good. Whether or not those sounds and all their various parameters appeal to you is another story. If you have an MS-50G or MS-60B and you are creating a custom firmware for that pedal, then open the firmware file for that pedal ("ZOOM MS-50G System v3.10 Updater" or "ZOOM MS-60B v2.10 Updater"). MS-70CDR: stereo in/out, USB connectivity, comes with huge range of modulation, delay, reverb effects (but no amp simulations or overdrive/fuzz/distortion effects. Can use 6 effects at once; comes with 86 effects. With custom firmware, you can add amp/overdrive effects from MS-50G, and some MS-60B effects as well. Works for guitar and bass. the KORG minilogue only has a delay (although the minilogue xd has reverb, delay and modulation from
