Standard boudoir shoots involve about an hour of Victoria’s Secret-inspired hair and makeup. This gives clients a second to get in the zone before, you know, taking their clothes off. And the photographers suggested I incorporate something similar— hair and makeup, sexy music, a glass (or two) of wine—into my own nude selfie shoots. I don't have much of a problem being naked around people (just ask my poor, poor roommates), but even I thought this period of mental preparation sounded like a good idea. i. We recommend moisturising your skin regularly in the run-up to the day, as well as applying a light moisturiser on the morning of your shoot. As you will have a lot of skin on show, hair removal (if desired) is important too but we recommend getting this done a couple of days before, or on the morning if this works for you. You have to be passionate about your subject. Passion will carry you far. A book takes a long time to write and even a longer time to publish and market. So if you don’t have passion you won’t go the distance. You will be asked to bring a few pieces like thongs, etc. We will send you specific information on what to bring and how to prepare for your shoot once you’ve selected your date, paid your deposit and have had a discussion with me. During your photoshoot, I will guide and direct you the entire time.

You will have access to our carefully selected wardrobe which consists of accents, accessories, fur vests, body chains in both metal and pearl, along with designer lingerie from Agent Provocateur, For Love and Lemons and Bordelle. We will help you select the best pieces for your shape. All of our lingerie is worn with panty liners or your own thong and diligently washed between each client. We will give you a good mix of lingerie boudoir photography as well as artistic nude boudoir photography – of course keeping your comfort level in mind.

Please note that studio lights and camera lens’s make makeup appear a lot lighter and have less impact than in real life, therefore our stylist may apply your make-up slightly heavier than you would probably usually wear yours to ensure it has the maximum impact in your video. For the ultimate glamorous look during your shoot, we tend to recommend styling your hair down, either straight and sleek or with lots of volume and curly, as this allows a little bit more freedom during the shoots and ultimately looks a lot more glamorous. However, if you would like your hair styled differently, please inform our stylist who will be happy to style your hair as required. So here’s the mission. I basically knew I had to create photos of Mrs. P that were so hot, they would make her husband forget porn existed. I also knew I needed to keep this thing reasonably tasteful because I really care about that kind of thing. Is it even possible to pull off both tasteful and provocative at the same time?
