About this deal

What really differentiates the Quinny strollers from other strollers in the market is really the stylish and eye-catching looks.

The bumper bar does look stylish and little boys may feel excited (role-playing driving). However, restless toddlers will not have any support to lean on the sides. What I Wish Could Have Been Better Like many other luxury strollers, this Quinny stroller does not feature a peek-a-boo window which is such a pity as I would love to see what my little one is doing from time to time. What Other Accessories Can I Get For My Brand New Quinny Stroller?

Whats not so good?

We love a good handlebar, as it's important for the adult to be comfy with the push. Covered with soft foam it has a good adjustable scope for the majority of sizes. Something that is common with modern pushchairs is that the adjustment button is placed right in the centre, so if you are pushing one handed from the centre of the handlebar, it can make it slightly difficult to manoeuvre. It's very simple to use, with the automatic unfold making life so easy. There's no fuss to the engineering and it's comfortable for both the child and parent. The shoulder pads are well-cushioned to ensure comfort, but may seem a little bulky for the smaller babies. The 2015 Moodd model now has the harness padding color coded to match the rest of the stroller. Two easy one push release buttons removes the baby seat from any Maxi-Cosi or Quinny pram/pushchair or buggy

As a modern parent who believes that neither style nor functionality should be compromised, I’m simply in love with the modern, stylish and unique designs of Quinny strollers. The 5-point harness is adjustable so that as your child grows, you can increase the length of the harness with the sliders as well as adjust the height of the shoulder harness higher (there are 3 different height settings). The only concern is that the center release button could be too easy for an older toddler to open.Aesthetically I've been dying to take a closer look. I've been a little concerned that I may have fallen for its charms because I was a little bit giddy with so many pushchairs around me at the time. However, I'm glad to report that our second date has not been disappointing and so far I still see potential. Of course, I can't make any kind of commitment until we are better acquainted but so far so good!

All round suspension on the Moodd creates a smooth ride for you and your baby and the front swivel wheel makes the pram super manoeuvrable even on the busiest streets. The handle bar is adjustable for the tallest or shortest of parents and the basket is large enough to carry any essentials. The canopy size is decent but not the biggest in the market. It might not be big enough to shade your child from the morning or evening Sun, especially if you are living in a sunny climate. It would be ideal if Quinny had the option to convert to a floating canopy for full Sun coverage. Bulky. This stroller will not fit in any trunk. You might have to remove the rear wheels to fit it in. At a touch of a button, the Quinny Moodd folds up like a dream and can be folded with seat unit attached in forward facing position. Supplied with adapters this pushchair can be transform into a stylish travel system compatible with colour matching Maxi-Cosi Pebble car seat or into a pram compatible with colour matching Quinny Foldable Carrycot.

Accessories

The Moodd maneuverability is good. It’s pretty light and effortless to push on a smooth ground or if you have a smaller child onboard. However, if you have a child near the weight limit, you’ll definitely need both hands. The Quinny Moodd is a stylish pushchair that offers comfort for baby and unfolds automatically at the push of a button. This 3 wheel pushchair is suitable from birth & easy to use with the Maxi-Cosi baby car seat to form a Quinny Moodd Travel system, or even a stylish pram with the Quinny Carrycot. Although Quinny has been around since 1950, the company has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years with the introduction of eye-catching, bold, hip strollers that are perfect for urban environments. The beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd. It’s so pretty, that you forget about all the missing functions and just want to have it. It’s just like those uncomfortable high-hill shoes that you know you can’t walk in very far, but you just have to have them. LOL. I have a lot of those in my closet.

The carrier also has rubber feet so that you can place it on the ground without dirtying the fabric. Hence, it can even serve as a stand-alone nap spot for your little one at home or outdoor, without being attached to the Moodd chassis. The internal liner is very soft, though you can still feel the side supports at the top and bottom through it. All of the fabrics can be removed for hand washing. The inside of the carrycot measures 74cm long and 29cm wide, so it should last until the child is around 6 months old. Curbs are unavoidable if you are walking around the city, so it’s good that the stroller is easy to mount onto curbs because of its well-thought-out weight distribution. We love that the Moodd seat reclines fully so it’s suitable from birth, can be forward-facing or parent-facing, and comes complete with a Cocoon Pod (similar to a cosy toes or footmuff) for extra cosiness. Another option is to invest in the compatible Folding Carrycot for your newborn, but you’ll have to buy this separately. The Moood is also travel-system ready with a range of car seats for extra convenience. No more struggling with complicated unfolding procedures, especially if you are carrying your baby in your hand and getting off the cab!

It comes with its own raincover and mosquito net that keep baby dry and protected. Made for the carrycot, it's a great fit and features a zip for instant access. Drivability & Fold From birth the Quinny Moodd is compatible with the compact carrycot, which will keep your little one safe and comfortable till around 6 months old. On the frame of the Moodd, the carrycot sits quite high which we love and memory buttons make it super easy when you’re taking the carrycot off the pram.
