About this deal

Runtime tests were conducted using the 30 cm integrating sphere with the Digi-Sense 20250-00 data logging lux meter calibrated using several lights of known output. I used the included fully charged 3000 mAh 18650 battery for each test and tested Turbo, High, and Medium modes. To obtain these numbers, I used a very rudimentary integrated shoebox and ceilingbounce on my Samsung Galaxy S10. Measurements have been calibrated using a standardized calibration light provided by 1Lumen. Maybe mine’s 6500K, but I have to say it’s still a clean beam and doesn’t feel so much like 6500K. Warmer than 6500K.

The Sofirn SP35 ATR flashlight is a pretty cool light. The 6 stepped modes are great – low is low and high is high, and there’s plenty between. If you don’t like stepped, there’s ramping too!! The price is great! Long Review The Big Table Sofirn SP35 (ATR) Flashlight For reference, here’s a baseline shot, with all the room lights off and almost nothing hitting the sensor. Also, here’s the light with the worst PWM I could find. I’m adding multiple timescales, so it’ll be easier to compare to the test light. Unfortunately, the PWM on this light is so bad that it doesn’t even work with my normal scale, which is 50 microseconds (50us). 10ms. 5ms. 2ms. 1ms. 0.5ms. 0.2ms.In a display faster than 0.2ms or so, the on/off cycle is more than one screen, so it’d just (very incorrectly) look like a flat line. I wrote more about this Ultrafire WF-602C flashlight and explained a little about PWM too. User Interface and Operation There is also a USB-A to USB-C charging cable included, which is a good one to use, as the charging port is recessed and in somewhat of a tight space. If the plastic head around the USB-C plug is too wide, it won’t fit. Sofirn has released the SC32, a mini tactical flashlight. This light uses a Luminus SST-40 at 6000K and has USB-C charging! Read on!Unfortunately, it is important to note that the Sofirn SC32 underperforms by about 25% all around. In reality, the visual difference between 1500 and 2000 lumens is hard to discern, but what’s advertised and how it actually does are different things. This is a solid performer at a low cost. The dual switch interface make it reasonable for tactical purposes, as do the dual springs. USB-C charging works well, too. Output doesn’t quite hit the specification, but more importantly, the throw does. Long Review The Big Table Sofirn SC31T Tactical Flashlight Durable and Reliable: Constructed with high-quality materials, the SC32 HCRI is built to withstand daily wear and tear, ensuring long-lasting durability. It is also IPX8 waterproof rated, providing reliability in outdoor and wet conditions. Specifications: The numbers are down a bit on the higher settings, but close. The included cell is only good for about 10 amps CDR, so I wasn’t expecting big numbers. I tried a Sony VTC6 and ran the test again. The lower modes didn’t show much of a gain, but Turbo and High were another story: Turbo jumped to 1983.7 Lumens, and High hit 846.6 Lumens. I suspect if you bypass the springs, it would go up even more. The Sofirn SP35 flashlight is now available with advanced temperature regulation (ATR). Read on for testing on this high output flashlight!

Versatile Lighting Modes: The SC32 HCRI offers multiple lighting modes, including moonlight, low, medium, high, turbo and strobe, allowing you to choose the appropriate brightness level for different tasks or environments. User-Friendly Operation: The SC32 HCRI features a convenient tail e-switch that enables easy access to different lighting modes and allows for seamless operation, making it intuitive and hassle-free to use. Measurement disclaimer: Testing flashlights is my hobby. I use hobbyist-level equipment for testing, including some I made myself. Try not to get buried in the details of manufacturer specifications versus measurements recorded here; A certain amount of difference (say, 10 or 15%) is perfectly reasonable. What’s IncludedType-C charging: With the built-in USB-C charging port, a 18650 cell can be charged inside your light using the included USB Type-A to USB-C cable, freeing you to enjoy your day and being able to charge practically anywhere. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours using a 3300mAh or 3.3Ah 3.6V 18650 cell.
