Both involve the release of spirits from patients/clients. Energy Vortex There are many reasons for disturbed energies in homes, buildings, outdoor space as well as work areas. These can be due to earthbound spirits looking to pass over into the Light, electromagnetic stress, geopathic stress, underground water, or ley lines. Attachments are independent energy entities which share your body and your mind like a joyrider or an unwanted hitch-hiker. You can have one or more and can have more than one type. Sensitive people can be aware of a whole range of 'subtle' energies that can cause them considerable distress. The articles here explore these various states and the way that negative energies can be deliberately created. When the earthbound spirit of a deceased person is discovered it is encouraged to move into ‘The Light’ where it may continue on its spiritual journey. Non-human entities may be ‘captured’ by angelic beings and escorted to an appropriate place for their education and guidance.

People can be influenced by other forms of spirit including the thoughts and emotions of the living where there may be a strong emotional connection or what may be called a ‘sympathetic resonance’. Sympathetic resonance can be initiated by a relationship with another person that could have originated in a family relationship, an intimate relationship with a past lover, or an enemy, and could originate in this earth life, or a past life. There is a rare type of lost soul which I have met only twenty seven times. These are souls of beings who were not human and were stranded here when their bodies died whilst visiting. These discarnate spirits are termed by SRT practitioners as ‘earthbound’ spirits, or ‘EB’s. In such cases the SRT practitioner treats the earthbound spirit as a client and helps them to progress to where they ought to be following the death of the physical body. Due to its non-religious, clinical principles ,SRT practitioners refer to the destructive, malevolent forms of spirit that cause problems , not as devils or demons, but at ‘dark force entities’ (DFE)s.

Group Soul Rescueinvolves two or more spirit release practitioners working collectively, a common practice within the Brazilian Spiritist movement. There are cases where the possessing entity has actually been created by the individual themselves from their own creative thought processes and powerful emotions. These entities are known as autogenic (self created) and can take on an autonomous nature whose purpose is to punish the creator for a variety of reasons including transgressing social, religious, family or cultural taboos. Other autogenic thought forms may include dissociated sub-personalities, as in cases of DID or multiple personality.This type of attachment does not work for either party very well, as the physical person will have their energy drained by the Spirit attachment, and will more than likely find they cannot move on with their life as they will keep thinking of the deceased person and end up very gloomy and depressed.

The psychology of spirituality and of those areas of the human mind which search for higher meanings in life, and which move beyond the limited boundaries of the ego to access an enhanced capacity for wisdom, creativity, unconditional love and compassion. It honours the existence of transpersonal experiences, and is concerned with their meaning for the individual and with their effect upon behaviour. 3 In the next part of this article I will explore some specific cases that highlight these processes in action. On a personal level, these entail all cases where negative outside influences attach themselves to the “energy-field” of an individual causing a disruption to the balance of the psyche. Such influences can include discarnate spirits of a human or animal form, negative thought forms, “curses” and on occasions non-incarnating spirits such as those that stem from the deva and elemental realms. When this happens there is also an imbalance within the spirit form that is attaching itself to the person.
