There was another cabin that looks as if they are remodelling it. An old miners cabin which is being renovated Remnants of the past in a nutshell I loved Alasdair's uncles. They are hilarious and they mean well but sometimes go about things the wrong way. Alasdair and Sophie make such a sweet couple, I was really rooting for them. I have been reading this series since it began and these books just get better and better. I cannot recommend this series enough. The 36th installment of the Argeneau series. Not bad. I enjoyed it like I enjoy all the novels in the series. After they talk and get to know one another a little better, Alasdair finds out that Sophie has had a very rough life. She lost her parents when she was young and ended up being taken in my her best friends parents a while later. If you ever find yourself travelling along Route 6 through Nevada from Ely to Warm Springs, you know that there isn’t much out there. It is a rarety you pass another vehicle or see any other signs of life. You start to wonder how tough life would be out here, where would you get your gas or do your shopping? And while I thought the ending was kind of fast, I also appreciate the book not focusing on the bad so much, since this is supposed to be a light and fluffy romance so the stakes can’t be too sharp right? (did you get my joke? Haha.)I had a great time with this one. One of my favorite things about this series, and Lynsay Sands in general, is how funny they are. Even with some serious things going on the characters lives, nothing can get in the way of these lifemates, not even four nosey uncles and mysterious deaths.
