About this deal

DJI Mic comes with two transmitters, each with built-in microphones. Both transmitters support omnidirectional audio, making them ideal for multi-person interviews and small studio operations. If you do use the system with a camera, you'll want to use the touch screen to swipe down and slide over to the "S" for "stereo" setting. Through that tiny screen, you can also adjust Receiver Gain, Volume on the monitor line, and access full settings. Final verdict

Enjoy crisp, reliable audio, even in complex scenarios. The transmitters and receiver communicate via a powerful wireless transmission that keeps audio smooth by reducing sound delay, even over long distances. The touchscreen on the receiver is simple and effective, displaying your mic levels and enabling you to adjust gain on each transmitter, enable or disable low cut and adjust audio settings such as whether the recording should be in mono. My unit was set to Chinese but changing the language setting was a two-swipe, one-tap affair. DJI Mic review: sound quality With the hot shoe adapter, attach the receiver to your DSLR, mirrorless or smartphone mount camera and capture flawless footage to match your audio.

DJI

The receiver’s touchscreen display offers easy access to channel selection, input / output settings and other essential operations. Both transmitters come with 14 hours of built-in memory to prevent dropped, dropped, and other audio frame issues.

I keep thinking about what a godsend this kit would be for an amateur movie maker. No more complicated sound systems or expensive booms. Just an iPhone attached to a tiny receiver and to carefully hidden, yet powerful mics. The entire DJI Mic system is wirelessly connected via a stable 2.4 GHz frequency band, allowing you to move freely while recording your adventures. All of this might sound complicated but it's not. I scanned over all the instructions but then, growing impatient, slipped the iPhone adapter into the receiver, powered it up, and attached it to my iPhone 13 Pro, which asked if it was a headphone. I said it wasn't. I powered up both mics, grabbed one, and, while holding the thumbnail-sized magnet square on my shirt, attached one mic to my chest. Then I grabbed my wife and put the other mic on her.The mics' frequency response depends on whether or not you use the Low Cut. If you do, the frequency range is 150Hz to 20KHz, which cuts low-end rumble and the boomiest bits of deep-voiced interviews. With it off, the lower end drops to 50Hz. DJI Mic review: setup and use The optimized wireless transmission system ensures a stable audio stream, even in crowded areas such as train stations, shopping malls and offices.
