About this deal

The British music duo Pound Shop Boys did a cover of the Fireman Sam theme in 2017 which combines the lyrics of the original Series 1- 4 theme and the Series 5/movie theme. Today is a special day for Station Officer Steele. He's especially trimmed his moustache for his appearance on television in Wales Today. Could this be fame at last?

Previously released on Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat - BBCV 4137, The Very Best of Fireman Sam 1 - BBCV 4870 and Fireman Sam: Bentley The Robot and Five Other Stories - BBCV 5467)With a gale blowing in Pontypandy, Sarah and James find that their kite is flying rather higher than they intended! Can Fireman Sam help? From Heroes of the Storm onwards, the theme received a brand new guitar arrangement plus other instruments in a modernisation attempt. Follow the antics of Fireman Sam, everyone's favourite fireman, as he stars in four entertaining episodes featuring a host of delightful characters from Pontypandy, a small town somewhere in the hills and valleys of Wales.

Trevor's Bus has a flat tyre and Dilys and the children have been waiting for ages at the bus stop - trying to get home after the sales. Can Sam help them both? A slide that includes six other " Fireman Sam" titles which are 1: " Lost Cat", 2: " Sam's Day Off", 3: " Snow Business", 4: " Norman's Pitfall", 5: " All in a Good Cause" and 6: " The Very Best of Fireman Sam", all to which are also available on BBC Video. Previously released on two videos: Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door (BBCV 4101) and Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat (BBCV 4137), the adventures of Pontypandy's hero are now available on this bumper compilation. Previously released on Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door - BBCV 4101, The Very Best of Fireman Sam 2 - BBCV 5278 and Fireman Sam: Treasure Hunt and Five Other Stories - BBCV 5464)Previously released on Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door - BBCV 4101 and Fireman Sam: Treasure Hunt and Five Other Stories - BBCV 5464) The pictures of Fireman Sam 1: The Hero Next Door (BBCV 4101) and Fireman Sam 2: Lost Cat (BBCV 4137) - which appear on the cover - are both taken from their original 1988 releases, although the content of all eight episodes from these two Fireman Sam video releases are taken from their original televised broadcasts. A BBC Video slide advertising the other six Fireman Sam video releases, which are Lost Cat, Sam's Day Off, Snow Business, Norman's Pitfall, All in A Good Cause and The Very Best of Fireman Sam 1 - all of which are also available on BBC Video. This is the first Fireman Sam video release to be released by BBC Video and is also the first of only two Fireman Sam video releases to contain the 1981-1988 BBC Video Ident from when it was originally released in 1988 until it was re-released with the 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident in 1993. In the Series 5 intro as Sam is driving Jupiter down the main street of Pontypandy during the line "...Fireman Sam! 'Cause he's gonna save the day!...", if one looks closely it can be seen that Jupiter's lights do not flash at the correct rate near the end of the shot.

The 1997-1999 Childrens' BBC Video trailer with clips from Fireman Sam, Pingu, Teletubbies, Postman Pat, William's Wish Wellingtons, Noddy's Toyland Adventures, Spider!, Oakie Doke and Dinobabies - who appear via video releases, audio cassettes, books and activity games - announced by Susan Sheridan. Phew, it's hot outside today! With the weather so dry, Pontypandy's Fire Department are especially busy. And now, Jupiter - The Fire Engine - is almost out of water. In the Original intro ( Series 1 - 4) Sam drives off from his house in Jupiter, but he leaves the front door open due to slipping on Norman's Skateboard. It's all go at Pontypandy Fire Station with Trevor on his part time fireman course. But as Station Officer Steele sets up a drill for him, it looks as though trouble with Dilys's drains will give him some real experience. In the first CGI intro ( Series 6 - 7) when Sam, Elvis, and Radar left with Jupiter, Jupiter's side logo was missing and Penny's helmet could not be seen on the shelf even though she did not go to an emergency. Both these goofs were corrected in the Series 8 - 9 intro.
