About this deal

I don't have to worry about any leaks or messes with these nappies and my little boy even wears them overnight without any leaks. They fit my baby really well, the line that goes blue when the nappy is wet is a brilliant feature as I only have to peak at it to know when he needs changing instead of pulling the napoy to the side. Ellie: The nappy performs as a nappy should do, it is easy to put on and take off and the nappy tabs are easily accessible. There was no stretching of the sides which meant it fitted my baby well and the nappy feels soft which is good when you know this will be used on delicate skin. Would you recommend this to other parents?

Our Mamia Ultra Dry Size 4 Maxi nappies offer great quality and incredible value for money. Mamia Nappies have a contoured design, are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and provide comfort night and day for up to 12 hours.” Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too. Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables.

Tested by mum Natalie Betts for the M&B Awards 2017:

I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable.

This product absolutely makes my life easier as a mum. Not only does it save my family money, it takes the guess work out of purchasing nappies. I used to try and find nappies on sale in large shops like Tesco or Asda, but ended up wasting time and money, and buying inferior products. With Mamia nappies, I know that I’m getting great quality at a great price. I can shop for my food and ALL baby products at Aldi – that to me makes my life so much easier!

What changes would you make to this product?

Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. I like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price. The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter. As I’m on maternity leave we're always looking for ways to save money so these nappies are great. I would definitely choose mamia nappies over other leading brands as the value for money is incredible. Although they are a fraction of the price of other brands the quality is amazing, so far there haven't been any leaks when my little boy has been wearing these nappies.

Although the Aldi Mamia nappies are good quality and have lots of good features for example, re-sealable fasteners and that they are lasting and very good price per nappy, I prefer the Pampers Sensitive nappies as I feel they felt slightly better and fitted my baby better around her legs. Although the Pampers nappies are more expensive than the Mamia range I felt that the price is justified by the quality of the nappy. I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. The sizing is a little off, I would say these nappies were a bit too big for my little one, but that is a minor issue. Tested by mum Natalie Betts for the M&B Awards 2017: Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? What an amazing product. The nappies where as good if not better than the leading brand. They absorb better than Pampers, Morrisons and Asda’s own and never ever leak. My little boy does large wees and these nappies had no problems in keeping the wee inside. Excellent value for money. Comfy and a really good fit. I have tried every nappy on the market on children in the nursery where I work and have always found these to be great. You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some also come with a disposable or a washable liner which you use to collect your baby’s poo. Read more about choosing reusable nappies. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”
