Obviously in this story we have the problem of Noah being away at school, in a whole different time zone from Elle. Elle has to negotiate senior year with that dilemma on her hands as well as all the fun the senior year brings with applying for colleges and facing the fact that life, loves and friendships are changing. It was lovely to see Elle deal with these issues and of course she makes mistakes along the way, that's why we love her right? Its also great to see her friendship with Lee change and develop as they both mature. It was more or less flat and not too creative. everything was fine up until the actual kissing booth scene and then everything went steadily downhill from there as I lost my patience little by little.

La amistad entre Elle y Lee sigue el hilo de la película. Son una pareja muy graciosa, con una amistad muy bonita y estrecha, que entretiene y se ve que se quieren con locura. Sin duda lo que más he disfrutado del libro han sido las escenas de estos dos mejores amigos :) Pero sin duda en la película Lee es muchísimo más mono y cuqui, es imposible superar eso. En ese momento no sabía que se basaba en una historia de Wattpad que más adelante se publicó en físico.

Noah and Lee's mother tells Elle she should start thinking about what she wants to do and choose a college based on that. Having seen the issues Elle and Noah's relationship had, Rachel breaks up with Lee, though she hopes they will someday reunite. I'm not even going to begin to dive into these shallow, self obsessed characters and this cringe-worthy writing, but to put it shortly, they were awful. Jessica Sutton as Mia, a popular, mean girl at school who has a crush on Noah. She is the leader of the OMG (Olivia, Mia, Gwyneth) girls. Meet Rochelle Evans: pretty, popular--and never been kissed. Meet Noah Flynn: badass, volatile--and a total player. And also Elle's best friend's older brother...Turns out Noah (who is captain of the football team) suddenly gets accepted to Harvard! Even though he never seems to study or worry about grades. Can't say I enjoyed this at all. The thing I can't get over is the age (16) of the main character. She was at parties until 2 in the morning, drinking, jumping up on tables and dancing in front of intoxicated boys, and having sex. On top of that, her father apparently had no problem with all that she was doing, and even merrily sent her out with alcohol when she is underaged ( at least in U.S. standards). Maybe I am being a prude with this, but I am 17 myself reading this and she felt far too young. All in all, I personally give this book 3 stars because though it was great and had an intriguing storyline, though I prefer the movie's portrayal because I found even though it was a film, it had more explanation to things than the book -- which is like NEVER the case.
