About this deal

The grenade launcher adds a couple of dice and, most importantly, Blast. Your entire pool ignores cover. This is the hardpoint upgrade that turns the AT-ST from a durable nuisance to an in-your-face board presence. When a unit activates it gets to do two of the following actions – only the Move action can be duplicated – all the rest you can only perform once. The list of actions is as follows: There is of course the issue of the Stormtrooper armour. Up until now, we have been working on the height of a Stormtrooper without armour. That is because the eye height of a 75th percentile man is also taken without any shoes on. points. It’s not cheap. What did you expect for something that towers over the battlefield? I mean, the thing is like, as tall as my cat.

Blast. Your entire dice pool ignores cover. If you have the Weiss full monty, that’s like, 11 dice or something. I lost count past holy shit. Range 4-unlimited. So that is a long range. Unfortunately that is also a big donut. Not the tasty kind either. The I-can’t-shoot-stuff-close kind. Often the mortar will be firing by itself, as this range band does not overlap with any of the AT-ST’s other weapons, except the main gun at Range 4.Coming in at a base cost of 195 points, a single AT-ST takes up almost a quarter of your full allotment of 800 points in a standard game. But what it gives you in return is immeasurable power and durability. Between the highest health in the game and its heavily armored shell, even the most persistent Rebels will be hard-pressed to deal lasting damage to the behemoth without heavy artillery. Star Wars Legion is a tabletop miniatures game published by Atomic Mass Games (formerly Fantasy Flight Games) in which two players, each controlling a small army of characters, fighters, and vehicles, compete to accomplish scorable objectives. The units are all based on our favorite galaxy far, far away, and bring together characters from the classic Star Wars movies, TV series, shows, and books. So with a little maths, we can divide the actual eye height of a Stormtrooper (1678mm) by the eye height of the mini (35.7mm) and this will give us the rough scale of the minis themselves. The AT-ST is tough but not invincible. Focus on eliminating Impact weapons and stay away from Luke.

Suppressive. The keyword that gives the mortar its value. One additional suppression to the target just for being fired upon. Potentially you can throw down two suppression on one target if any of your whites hit. The only criticism I would have with the army building at the moment, is that there currently isn’t enough choice with the amount and variety of units that can be put into an 800 point army. This will of course be remedied by FFG very soon, with the release of numerous new army option expansions. Rebel Commandos and Snowtroopers are just two of the army choices currently in production, to be brought out soon! Conclusion & Final Thoughts on Star Wars Legion Other AT-ST’s, Saber throw, and Speeder Bikes are all very dangerous to at AT-ST as well. The HH-12 and Fleets/MPL-B are up there, but you don’t really see exhaust weapons very often these days.

The two players then look at how many units they can activate, and each player designates those units on the battlefield that are within range 1-3 of the commander, and that have not already been activated. A token is placed beside the models to designate this. Being that Fantasy Flight Games (the company behind Star Wars Legion) won’t tell us the exact scale that they work to. It is very much up to us as fans of Star Wars Legion to work out the correct scale to print our miniatures, landscape and props.

He worked out that the average height of a Stormtrooper is 5’11”. This means that a Stormtrooper falls into the category of a 75th percentile male. What scale are Star Wars Legion miniatures?Star Wars: Legion is played over the course of six rounds as you and your opponent duel over objectives on a battlefield of the Galactic Civil War. At the end of six rounds, the player with the most victory tokens (earned from objectives) wins the game. An aim token helps a bit, though 24% to completely miss still feels high to me for a weapon which exists almost exclusively to dish out suppression. So while the exact math points to Star Wars Legion miniatures being around 1:47 scale, official kits point to 1:48 scale. Both Bandai and Revell sell Star Wars model kits which are at 1:48 scale. They both also sell model kits at 1:52 and 1:53 scale which will also work well with Star Wars Legion. The sliding scale With the 88 TLBC and an Aim token, your AT-ST is going to hit that AT-RT’s resilience value in one shot 70% of the time. Ouch? The mortar launcher is for suppressing stuff. It’s good at that, but not much else. You might kill a stray Rebel Trooper on occasion.
