Is the cheap bath / flexing a probable cause or would there be any other likely causes for this to drop? It only seems to do it in certain places and not all the way around (yet). Apart from our bath crayons, they are not designed specifically to be washed off, however if this was to happen, using a cloth wet with warm water could help clean up the crayons.

Rather extreme, but attach a beam to the side of the tub (requiring drilling and bolts) and then attach that to a wall stud with screws or another fastener. This will also reduce movement. Caulking strip in combination with caulk. These adhesive plastic edging come in rolls and are easy to apply. I'd add an extra bit of regular caulk to secure it in place and make it really water proof. Less extreme, but untested: Get a self-leveling floor compound, used for leveling uneven floors and somehow pour it through your existing gap to settle below the tub. Hopefully this would strengthen and stabilize the tub's support. These are usually either similar to cement or epoxy.

When we fill our bath and get in, it drops by at least half a CM. The silicone has consequently been damaged, and while it needs replacing, I am concerned it is just going to keep happening and where it keeps coming away I worry water from the shower will get behind the bath causing damp. Beeswax Crayons - Please keep out of direct sunlight, store in a safe dry place away from children when not in use. Any ideas / advice much appreciated. I have been assured that there is nothing that can be done as it's a cheap bath and will flex but I thought I would ask on here and see what response I get. I have been told it is perfectly safe though. I don't over fill it and I am not an overly heavy person (12 stone). It doesn't drop when just standing in it, only when filled with water and then more so with the weight of a person.
