About this deal

So yes, this is a beginners’ guitar. However, it’s for the slightly advanced beginners, if you get what we mean. If you’re a beginner, and you want something that you would be able to use long-term, you want to invest in this guitar. Well, we’re glad to tell you that Cordoba realized how important this part of the guitar is and gave both the C5 series and the C3m nice rosewood fretboards. In making this particular part of the guitar, luthiers are left with very few options in terms of quality. In fact, the only two that are considered equally superior in this category are ebony and, of course, rosewood. Furthermore, there are two types of rosewood which could have been used. There’s the exotic Brazilian rosewood, and then there’s the Indian rosewood.

The Kremona workshop has been existing and producing stringed musical instruments ever since 1924. Their supplies mainly go to Europe and Asia. The attention paid to every detail while building their work has made them gain popularity even in North America. How can I make my classical guitar sound better? In conclusion, good guitar at below retail, good for young careless students, good quiet electronics. I'm not saying the build quality is as good as more expensive brands of plug in classical guitars. But as a plugged in instrument, it has the same mainstream sound which you find in lot's of other more expensive instruments. Of course, we’ve got a solid cedar top, which is also lovely. When it comes to classical guitars (even if you’re a beginner), a solid top isn’t something you should pass up on. Solid wood’s response will help you feel the music – as corny as that may sound! The C3m also comes with as much learning guide and accessories as the Cordoba C5, making it great for beginners. However, we’ll start out by saying that the “best guitarist” might be subjective based on different preferences and perspectives.

Cedar is a naturally mellow wood, though the guitar has a lovely splash of clarity for a nicely balanced sound. Thankfully, the cedar top doesn’t give it an overly hushed or muffled tone which would spoil the instrument for a lot of players. It also has an impressive amount of resonance and sustain for a guitar at this price. Plug In with the Cordoba C5-CET Well, the Canadian cedar top is actually a very popular choice for Cordoba, more than the European Spruce top. While the European spruce top is the more traditional of the two, the cedar top began gaining increasing popularity since the mid-1960s. Both guitars come with well-made guitar bags which make it more convenient to carry your guitar around. Plus, it’s a great way to store your guitar and prevent it from damage.

We’re not surprised that most guitars of the C5 and C7 series are cedar tops. This is because these are beginner guitars. And compared to spruce, for instance, cedar tops make it easier for beginners to play and sound good even with minimal skills. The founder and owner Tim Miklaucic had a strong desire to rescue the classical guitar. The result of this desire is the steadfast fusion of craftsmanship and beauty to produce a guitar that is both lightweight and responsive. As a plus, they still manage to hold on to the integrity of their Spanish origins. As well as a cutaway, this Cordoba C5-CET Classical Electro-Acoustic Guitar has a thinner body, offering superior comfort and handling. For the C7, we have the Cordoba C7 CD/IN Acoustic Nylon String Guitar, Cordoba C7-CE CD/IN Acoustic Nylon String Guitar. Apart from being relatively new, the Dreadnaught series provides the best of rich and warm sound that you want from a Guild guitar. So, from what we’ve seen from the above description, rosewood is a fantastic bridge point between mahogany and maple.

However, these two guitars come with the same top, the Canadian cedar top. So, why did Cordoba choose the cedar top for these two guitars? Body Width & Length:375mm (14.75") width at lower bout; 290mm (11.42”) at upper bout; 485mm (19.09") body length February 2024 - Delcamp International Competition for amateur Classical Guitar players of a high standard

Handmade in Traditional Spanish Style

They are both full-sized guitars, each possessing 19 frets. 19 frets should be more than enough to run any scale, right? From the sound it produces to the construction, the flamenco guitar is not the same as the classical guitar. The Flamenco style guitar playing technique is also quite different. Where are kremona guitars made? If you want something just for practice, or say you’re still a beginner and would love something to get your fingers rolling, you can get the acoustic version.

Of course, the tonewoods used in any acoustic guitar are central when it comes to sound. The Cordoba C5 classical guitar comes with a solid Canadian cedar top. The solid top gives this guitar greater resonance and sustain, and over time, it will “open up” and sound more full. However, playing 45 degree slanted to the string can give you a completely different tone. The sound becomes warmer and deeper if you take an angle greater than 45 degree. In this case though, all the guitars in the C5 series are cedar top guitars while the C7 has just two guitars with the cedar top. One of the most popular series from Guild is their Dreadnaught series. The popularity is definitely not unmerited seeing that it offers some top-draw features. So, for this important part of a guitar, there are usually three choices – maple, ebony, and rosewood. Many experts swear by the last two though. For both guitars, Cordoba chose to go for rosewood. Besides that, we also noticed that customers appreciate that they were getting a good deal with this guitar. The Cordoba C5 is affordable, the Cordoba C3m is even more affordable. The fact that this is not available in any other version besides the acoustic version, makes it all the more affordable. The fingerboard, otherwise known as the fretboard, is the part of the guitar which you interact with the most. It is, therefore, necessary that this part of the guitar possesses great hardware as this would make the interaction better and a lot more enjoyable.
