Located in one of Bath’s many beautiful Georgian buildings, the Bath Gin Company is Bath’s first gin distillery for over 250 years, since the Gin Acts of the 18 th Century. They produce artisan flavours over their five-floor, self-proclaimed gin palace, with their adjoining Canary Gin Bar offering the perfect spot for a tipple or two. One of the newest of our Cotswold gins, Racing Gin was inspired by the distiller’s love of horse-racing and comes in a bottle decorated with colourful racing silks. It’s produced by the Burford Distilling Co, who are based at the 18th-century Golden Pheasant Inn in Burford, and is the first in a new range of gins which are inspired by the area’s history and use local ingredients. You'll learn how they create their award-winning spirits; from the selection and distillation of botanicals, to the intricate field-to-glass journey of the ethically sourced speciality coffees of their famous Conker Coffee Liqueur. Your whisky will be bottled up for you to take home with you, as well as two 20cl bottles of our Single Malt Whisky, so that you can enjoy a dram with family and friends when you get home.

Be amazed by the autumn colour at Batsford Arboretum which is home to some of the world’s most beautiful trees. Sipped with water added, you’ll find that some of the spice notes come out a bit more. More pepper, More cardamom, more coriander, and especially on the finish, a lot more bay leaf. The juniper and angelica become a bit more vegetal, with hints of celery and herbes de provence, with angelica’s distinctive musk note becoming much, much louder.
