Bought this for our workshop to cater for 4-5 of us and thus far we're very impressed. Because there is a smaller space, the heat can be more concentrated on your food, too, so less energy is wasted. There are a range of factors to consider to when choosing a toaster oven air fryer for your home. These include:

The timer also reaches between 15 minutes to 120, which is one of the most generous of those we reviewed and great if you’re making any meats or casseroles. There are several key differences between toaster ovens and air fryers, which may influence which one you choose to buy. Temperature Range: Do you frequently toast croissants in the mornings at 60°C? If so, getting an oven which only begins at 100°C may see a few burnt results. Initially was concerned that there's no seperate heat controls for hob, grill or oven function. It's pretty much all or nothing but this isn't as problematic as first thought and even us blokes can multi-task with this unit. The heating elements for grill and oven seemed inadequate but perform very well.
It is one of the most adaptable which we reviewed, with the choice to select temperature settings between 70°C-230°C and a cooking time between 0-100 minutes. A lot of others only start at 100°C and last 60 minutes before you have to intervene again.It can also be used to roast meat and veg, offering more of an oven-like capacity than some of the products on this list that are more limited by height. We particularly liked the 'keep warm' function, which kept leftover food at the perfect temperature for second helpings during dinner.
Space: How much room do you have on your kitchen countertop for the product? While some toaster oven air fryers can be a little bulky, others are more slimline and compact. Make sure you actually have room for the model you buy! First of all, it is fan assisted which helps with temperature regulation and even cooking. There are plenty of settings to choose from depending on your food and the results you are after, including a rotisserie option, conventional and grill options and the all-important hobs. Additionally, Ninja is a name you can trust: the brand is synonymous with high-quality air fryer products, and the Foodi 8-in-1 Mini Oven is no exception to the rule.

To test the heat distribution we baked a tray of Madeleines. We were impressed with the Cuisinart Air Fryer Mini Oven as the cakes cooked evenly: golden on top with a crisp base. Much like a conventional oven the Cuisinart Air Fryer Mini Oven has dual heating elements at both the top and the bottom. Meaning that the heat is consistent throughout. Typically air fryers have a single heating element paired with a powerful fan. This model also has the addition of a fan meaning that heat is evenly circulated. The design means that the Cuisinart Air Fryer Mini Oven can perform a range of cooking methods including grilling and air frying. The capacity of this air fryer toaster oven is 15 liters and has 3 rails for trays. We found when cooking on multiple shelves it was necessary to swap the levels so that everything cooked evenly. We cooked two pizzas simultaneously on separate shelves and found the one closest to the top browned much faster.
