This tribe of naked walking people was discovered in 1986 by a member of the National Youth Service Corps. This Corps member was posted to go serve at the then Gongola (now known as Yola) area of Northern Nigeria. The Jibu tribe of Taraba state was discovered by Stephen Osu who was a Nigerian journalist. He discovered the tribe after a tiring and rigorous 9-hour journey over a mountain. Nudity (or near-complete nudity) continued in various parts of the world including Africa until civilization happened.

This tribe is located in Birnin Amina, Rijau Local Government Area of Niger state in Nigeria, West Africa.Centuries later, almost everyone on earth is civilized and has adopted the use of various means of covering nakedness. They are idol worshippers who believe in a god called Zum or Nu. The Koma people are mostly farmers and hunters.

The Kambari people of Nigeria don’t see nudity as a means to seduce men. Contrary to this, they believe that what attracts a man to a woman is her tattoos and the style of her hair. Living their lives as they wish in the hills, they are almost alien to whatever form of civilization the world has adapted. Clothing to the Koma people is only for ceremonious activities.Many argued that Marisa was being insensitive to the culture when she posed naked in Egypt, a historically Muslim country.
