About this deal

Perhaps the idea of so many different ways of monitoring your baby seems a little excessive and the Angelcare AC1100 would be an unnecessary investment. The Nursery Angel unit plays sweet lullabies which again, can be controlled through your handset. Extra Features: We have this and its brilliant! It only cuts in when it detects noise but my goodness it's clear! I have significant hearing loss and was so worried that I wouldn't hear the monitor. This has been brilliant... Not only can you adjust sensitivity and also volume but it lights up much brighter if it's loud noise. This works well for me and I haven't had any problems with hearing my little one. I loved this product and it has really made a positive difference to my parenting, which is saying something considering this is baby number four! The sense of reassurance it gives by combining audio, visual and movement is outstanding and we were amazed at the clarity of the video picture, even in total darkness.

We understand the appeal of a one-and-done solution and see why parents will be drawn to this monitor. However, we think there are better, easier-to-use monitors in our best baby monitor review. Its performance in every testing metric makes it an overpriced option that does nothing very well. What Other Movement Monitor Should You Consider? We love this monitor. Our son very soon decided he was going to sleep on his front and this monitor was the only reason we could sleep instead of lying watching him all night!! It really is great. Only ever had a few false alarms with the sensor pad when he wriggled right up to one end of his cot and lets face it, you’d rather have a false alarm than find it hadn’t worked when it should have. Great that you can chose to deactivate the sensor pad and just use sound monitor. Lots of different settings which come in handy, including a temperature alarm should you want it! We’re using it for our second child due later this year. Read more

This basic audio monitor does its job excellently. It never lost its connection during my testing (unlike many pricier models) and I used it throughout my house and garden for weeks. The sensor pad is an added reassurance when baby is in their own room. Only downfall is that you have to plug the sensor pad in for the monitor to work without alarming. Read moreUnfortunately it lost its connection occasionally during my testing. It sounded an alarm to alert me to this loss and flashed a red light to show that the link was broken. I switched the parent unit off and on again and it immediately reestablished connection, but I didn’t find it as reliable as those that appear above on this list. The parent unit is pleasantly tactile to hold, with softly rounded edges. It’s completely intuitive to use, with clearly marked buttons on the front, making it friendly for babysitters and other family members at first glance. It also has a pretty impressive battery life, easily lasting for a day of naps and a long evening without its charger. I would recommend this baby monitor to fellow mums mainly because of how easy it is to use and set up. I’m terrible with technology but managed to set this up in ten minutes! It has a number of functions I did not expect such as the room temperature display and the two-way talk, both of which are really handy. I was dubious about the movement sensor at first, thinking the alarm would go off every few minutes, yet this monitor is so sensitive it can sense her breathing! If you are looking for a leading product that does all of that and have are able to splurge on a high end baby product then the Angelcare AC1100 might be for you. It’s a shame because this was a nice-looking monitor with good sound quality (when its connection worked) and accurate sound-sensitive lights when muted.

The camera is very clear and bright and the wide screen means you can see everything very clearly. If my baby makes a noise I can see what the problem is straight away and can watch to make sure he has found his dummy or teddy. At night, the AC327 all but loses the facial features on the baby leaving parents to guess what is happening.I love this product, really put a first time paranoid mother's mind at ease. Always worked well for us, has been used up to 18 months. We always found a good connection through the monitors and there were never any disruptions. The downfall to this monitor is that it cannot be used without the movement mat without changing settings. Also if my little boy would've got out of his bed it would bleep really loudly, which I guess proved it works but not so suitable when child gets older. Read more Although I thought the monitor was a little expensive and over engineered, the design is really good – it’s an attractive monitor and it does work very well. I think overall, Angelcare do have a really trusted reputation when it comes to monitors and all of their products are attractively designed. Placing the mat under the mattress and forgetting about it was great. When my son grew it wasn’t quite as sensitive and rarely went off. The little night light was also a great addition. I love this product used on both of my kids. Love the fact there is alarm for when the room is too hot/cold. I love that there is a heart monitor. The only down side is when the baby rolls of the mat and you are

Angelcare AC527 Baby Movement Monitor review - MadeForMums

I have had to adjust the sensitivity slightly now and again as I found if my little one rolled/moved to the bottom of her cot it would alarm yet she was fine just a little out of reach of detection. The VTech parent unit has a large 5-inch screen like the BT video monitor, displaying a comparable picture quality. It’s really simple to use with clearly marked buttons and a menu which is easy to navigate. The camera pans up and down and from side to side and allows you to zoom in. It also comes with an optional wide-angle lens which easily clips on to the front of the camera.Once I’d sourced the board, it wasn’t difficult to set up the monitor. You simply press into all the corners of the mattress to ensure that it’s registering movement everywhere and won’t set off the alarm if the baby is at the edges of the cot and then you’re good to go. Angelcare specialise in producing movement monitors. If this monitor doesn’t detect any movement in the cot for 15 seconds (including breathing) it will set off a rouse alarm which should prompt any still baby in a deep sleep to wriggle. If no movement is detected after a further five seconds, an alarm sounds on both units. Crystal clear transmission allows you to hear every sound. while an optional audio 'tic' lets you know that the monitor is still working when your baby is sleeping soundly. The rechargeable portable parent unit can be clipped to your belt, allowing for portable surveillance.
