About this deal

Anyway when I put it on normal overdrive it has more input lag and so much motion blur I get headache. The TN panels sport one of the fastest response times for the minimum motion blur. The 1080p resolutions make it easier to let the PC system reach a higher frame. The Twisted Nematic or TN technology is not known for its representation of colors. It offers a 95% AdobeRGB and 96% of the sRGB Gamut range. These are standard numbers for the TN technology but not impressive. The ergonomic design of the monitor hides all its ports along the bottom of the monitor. The ports consist of a DisplayPort, a power connector, a USB port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, and a line-out audio port. It also comes with a USB upstream port if you want to connect the monitor to the PC) and an HDI port. It’s quite a good collection of inputs, though it doesn’t provide the older type of connections, such as DVI.

I've now read the thread further... it's a shame that nobody else has corrected you and other people who have the same misconceptions. Now for the performance of the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor. The AW2518HF is of above-par quality. It is simple to set up, and you will not need any tools for that. The 1080p display may not seem to be appealing. That’s especially true when compared to the larger models with high resolution. Yet, you cannot overlook the fantastic picture quality of this Alienware monitor. Forum Rules wrote: 1. Rule #1: Be Nice. This is published forum rule #1. Even To Newbies & People You Disagree With! Dell’s well-known for its premium image quality, and the image straight out of the box didn’t disappoint. You're not increasing input lag (which you seem to confuse with response time) by using a lower pixel overdrive setting, and vice-versa, you're not decreasing it, by using the preset, which they misleadingly labeled "super fast".Ergonomic functionalities include 130mm height adjustment, 90-degree pivot, 20-degree swivel to the left and right, -5, 25-degree tilt, and 100 x 100 VESA mount compatibility. The screen is covered with ananti-glare matte(3H) coating. Which means the higher it is, the more voltage gets pumped into your screen's pixels to force them to transition from color to color faster.

Use a 5 or 15 vertical line sync width instead of 8 (has to do with the way everything maths together) If you've watched the part of my video, which I recommended you to watch, you could see what changing overdrive gain looks like. Playing on the preset, which was named "super fast" by the monitor manufacturer won't suddenly make your monitor super fast... I had the same monitor and same gpu, super fast would make most sense to use since it's highest OD and it doesn't introduce any overshoot/corona artifacts, maybe just a little bit @60Hz. You can further improve slight ghosting trail this monitor has with contrast and reducing the G gain out of RGB in osd custom colors (there's more in this thread discussion: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6601&p=48725#p48725). The Alienware 25 AW2518HF has combined gamer-centric features and impressive build quality. It has produced an eye-catching design that is going to keep the gaming enthusiast excited for a long time.

dark stabilizer is badly implemented on that monitor so I never used it - when its enabled it introduces some type of a bad "sharpness/contrast" effect around edges of the icons, its especially visible on win 10 taskbar Installatie op de harde schijf met het bestand Setup.exe voor ALIENWARE_AW2518HF-MONITOR_A00-00_DRVR_CFVF0.EXE
