About this deal
The design of the EarFun Free 2 carries over from the original, which means they’re a thoroughly plastic affair. At this asking price that isn’t an unexpected development.

The Free 2 earbuds are their cheapest pair of true wireless, sitting alongside the original, and still available, Free buds. With a feature set that looks to capture mobile gamers and fitness fanatics, these are the type of all-purpose earbuds that often crop up – and judging by their performance, do a solid enough job. Design They perform solidly across a range of musical genres with a performance that’s peppy, energetic and buoyant. There’s a good rhythm to these earbuds that isn’t necessarily accurate but does entertain. They use shallow fit silicone tips with a flange and could probably accomodate the misodiko/ikko foams amongst others. The provided silicones are very thin, yet I was able to get a good seal -a task I often have difficulty with- that had them secure enough in my head to stay seated through some headbanging roleplay. Given the shallow fit, they are not the most passively isolating earbuds and I would recommend foams mentioned above if that is a concern. Upon opening the charging case you will that it is molded to fit EarFun Air supremely. When you take the EarFun Air wireless earbuds out, you will see a magnet that holds the buds in place, and towards the below of the charging case, you will see 2 gold connectors, pins that again, charge the buds when attached.

The EarFun Air True Wireless Earbuds are great for sports and fitness, because of their IPX7 water-resistant rating. The sound performance is great for the price tags, great level of bass, but can’t compare to the high-end like Sony WF-1000XM3 or Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. EarFun estimates the battery life to be roughly 6 hours, with an extra 24 hours in the battery case. That's a little better than average for the true wireless field, and impressive considering the price, but remember that your results will vary with your volume levels. The charging case uses USB-C, and can also charge wirelessly on a Qi pad.Specs: in-ear (with stem), dimension: 2″ x 1.2: x 2.2″, weight: 8.4 ounces, Bluetooth 5.0, full-charge (case): 1.5 hours, charging type: USB type C, playtime: 35 hours with charging case Specs: in-ear, dimension: , weight: 0.16 ounces (each earbuds)/, driver: 10mmBluetooth 5.2, frequency response: 20 – 20kHz, impedance: 16 ohms, charging type: USB-C, playtime: 8 hours (single charge)/32 hours (with charging case),

As we said in our review of the Earfun Air, it’s rare that we award five stars to a pair of true wireless headphones at this ultra-low price point, since cheap rarely means good value. Simply put, it does here.
With the EarFun Air, the company has proven its growing reputation once again. While their controls could be a little more user-friendly and the charging case is pretty ugly, the EarFun Air are great where it counts.
