About this deal

Baking doesn’t have to be difficult and you don’t need lots of ingredients to produce something tasty. Make cuts to the corner of your greaseproof paper when lining your baking tin. This allows it to fit more snugly. Then you’ll melt together chopped chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a double boiler. You’re essentially making chocolate fudge that’s extra creamy. You could do this in the microwave, but if so, just be very careful. Always use medium power (not high power) and melt in short 45-second bursts, stirring between each interval.

Store: The no-bake chocolate traybake can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the fridge in an airtight container. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for a week....but they won't last that long! The Maltesers will slightly soften over time but it doesn't affect the flavour. For the Topping: In a different bowl place the milk and dark chocolate and melt in the microwave on 30 second blasts until fully melted. Pour over the top of the tiffin mixture and level out.

If you prefer, you can melt the butter and syrup on a low heat in a saucepan on the hob and stir in the chopped-up chocolate until it all melts together. I find the microwave method is easier, but you must melt it in short bursts, stirring in between every time, to prevent the chocolate from burning and becoming grainy. If you don’t like dates then you can substitute them for equal quantities of raisins or even leave them out all together.

This recipe will work with whichever combination of milk and dark chocolate you choose. If you only want milk or dark that will work but I prefer the equal mix. Unfortunately, this recipe will not work if you try to substitute the chocolate with white chocolate Remove from the heat, then add in the crushed biscuits and Maltesers. Mix well then pour into the prepared tin, press down well and chill until set. Golden Syrup. It’s really worth finding the golden syrup if you can – it has a unique flavour. Corn syrup, honey or maple syrup could also be used but the flavour would be different. Dessert tortilla wraps – a viral recipe that started on TikTok and became an internet sensation, these dessert tortilla wraps are truly delicious. The best thing is that they’re so adaptable… you can use your favourite fillingsMaltesers - the star of the show! You'll need some whole Maltesers and some crushed or chopped. You could swap the Maltesers for chopped Cadbury crunchie bars and make crunchie honeycomb tiffin. For the chocolate on top, I like to use milk chocolate, but feel free to use your favorite. The topping is simply melted chocolate with a tiny bit of butter which makes the chocolate on top extra glossy and easier to slice. Pour the melted chocolate over the top of the firm base layer, then spread it smooth. Is there anything more beautiful than melted chocolate?

Maltesers cheesecake – Malteser recipes are divine and this one is no exception. If your Malteser obsession hasn’t been sated by this Malteser tiffin, make this mouthwatering cheesecake Hi, I’m Beth, a Mum of three (and one crazy dog), living in Cornwall, UK. I love creating easy, delicious and fuss-free recipes, perfect for busy families, just like my own. Note: It’s important to melt chocolate very slowly over low heat to ensure the chocolate melts. If you ty to melt chocolate on high heat, it can end up baking and get grainy instead of smooth.Add the chopped chocolate and butter to a double boiler over low heat and melt until smooth. Or add to a heatproof bowl and microwave on medium power (not high power - which is standard/default on some models) for 45-second intervals, stirring between each. Do you know a single person who doesn’t like Maltesers? I know I don’t! They are just so addictive. Pour the Malteser studded mixture into the lined tin. Smooth out with a rubber spatula and place in the fridge to firm up for one hour.
