Because the build plate was not perfectly level, a few minis got distorted. It caused a thin film of resin to form around some minis. I printed this batch after I thought I had fixed the issue, but I had not.
The build plate must have strong adhesion, as opposed to the FEP, where you would like an easy removal. During testing of the base model, the sandblasted build plate showed great success. This is the same plate that the Mars 3 Pro uses as well. Compatibility with ChiTuBox and Lychee But the build volume you get is not that small and small is not always bad in the case of 3D printers. After slicing the model and preparing it for 3D printing, I transferred the model to the Mars 3 Pro using the included USB thumb drive. The model was printed with Elegoo Standard Photopolymer resin, a low-cost resin that shows a great deal of contrast and highlights even the finest details on printed models. Resin poured into the vat everyone got a new sensor and motherboard send and it got fixed, I got a motherboard send with a broken connector.. I havent been able to print for weeks now.. and it honestly is gonne take even longer, I dont even know if it will ever.. I recommend going for any different brand 4k printer. Now my LCD isnt working cause of the connector. Im exhausted. Because I print miniatures and models with a lot of detail, it is very important for me to dial in a resin printer to make sure it can capture that detail and print successfully every time.

Whatever your position, it is safe to assume that you want to avoid any harm to your LCD because it will compromise print quality and might result in future expenses. There was, however, a change in the build volume. The Mars 3 Pro has a build volume of 143 x 90 x 175 mm, which shows an increase of 10 mm in the Z-axis over the earlier Mars 3 and provides enough space to print models and even sizable batches. The Elegoo Mars 3 Pro is a 4K resolution mSLA resin 3D printer that produces fantastic quality prints at an affordable price. The competition will likely shift to focus on other features than pure specs. Maybe DLP printing will become standard for miniatures and detail, we will see.
