About this deal

Another cozy and hilarious read! I really did enjoy it and how the story from the first book developed in this one! I really wanted to love this as a new cozy fantasy. But I'm getting more and more frustrated and that's not fair to me or the author. Christ almighty this was terrible. Unoriginal plot, cringe-worthy acting (I can usually tolerate mediocre acting but this was real bad), typical idiot stereotypical teenagers making idiotic choices. Together, Books 1 & 2 of The House Witch make this my favorite series of 2022. Full marks, this is exactly the type of novel I want more of... and fortunately Book 3 is scheduled to release in a few months.

I opted for an audiobook version of this book since I would have to tweak most of the recipes inside anyway due to certain allergies. That aside though, I found this book to be an excellent introduction to hearth witchery. It was careful to distinguish between hearth witches, kitchen witches, and green witches, all of whom are usually lumped together. And while their work can overlap and people can practice more than one type of witchcraft, it was nice to see the distinctions laid out in writing. However, just like the previous book, the beginning is very repetitive, which made the reading very boring at some points, and to be honest all the repetition didn't help me to understand the topic better. If you read "The Green Witch" first or will read it too, know that there are some informations that are very similar, including some rituals, crafts and recipies.

House witch Finlay Ashowan must contend with matters of the heart, hearth, family, and kingdom in the second book of a whimsical and winning fantasy series. Bad script, inept direction, awful "acting," etc. This was obviously written around the location, in the hometown of the producer. The "house" isn't frightening, in the least - just a decades-old "Federal" styled mansion, next to a freeway. (The property is apparently being converted into a business, housing, and retirement complex? I found a few old articles on Google, but didn't explore further.) The feminist revolution of the latter half of the twentieth century succeeded in opening the workplace to women, but, unfortunately, in so doing it suggested that domestic management was somehow inferior to work done elsewhere.” This series is everything it promises to be - a humorous romantic cozy fantasy. Even when there’s hard subjects discussed, it never felt too heavy or intense. The characters are well rounded and have hilarious interactions with one another and the storyline is pleasant and enjoyable! Definitely recommend this series!! How this kind of stuff makes it onto a major streaming entity, is puzzling. It was aired on a cable channel originally.

The House Witch: Your Complete Guide to Creating a Magi…

Especially egregious was the final scene where they chose to play audio clips of "clues" the characters gave throughout the movie over and over again, I guess to be sure they beat it into our heads what exactly happened. The clips were blatantly obvious, and I don't think most people would have needed help to figure out the ending, which was yet again another cliche. She is also the editor of the anthology Out of the Broom Closet (2009). Her bright teal silk gown was cut in a wide V, exposing her flawless chest with modest cleavage" (102). The addition of Adamma and Sky felt unnecessary, maybe it will pay off in the next book, if not it was just there to have an excuse to see Fin fight another witch. Again, unnecessary. I think the problem with this book is that it had too many unnecessary scenes that felt forced.WE ARE LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF ROUTE 114 & ESSEX STREET IN DOWNTOWN SALEM, 16 MILES NORTH OF BOSTON. Kaip apsidžiaugiau kai pamačiau šią knygą išverstą! Turėjau anglišką PDF formatą, bet visgi juk norisi popierinių knygų.
