About this deal

BUT I wouldn’t want to play it. I’d just look at the pictures… So… it’s got nothing to do with playing these special editions – entirely about looking at the nice production values?

I loathe Monopoly. It’s a game whose sole intent is to remove other players from the game, leaving them sitting around twiddling their thumbs for potentially hours while the remaining players finish the game.Immediately after an opponent buys a property from the bank, you may take it from him or her and it now belongs to you. Also, if the Ocarina is a GameStop exclusive piece, and Monopoly is 2-6 players, what does the 6th player use if you buy it somewhere else? Ridiculous. I'm getting this for my grown "kid" for her birthday as I bought what seemed like a million different Zelda games, for all her gadgets, throughout the years. The worst thing that could happen is she hates it and sells it off and makes a bit of a profit. So, for me, it's a win-win situation. One of the biggest issues people have with Monopoly is that they play it wrong. The game simply should not take hours to play. So many people add a whole bunch of house rules into the mix that try to circumvent the player elimination which only serves to make the game go longer.

Each set comes with a Bow, Hookshot, Boomerang, Triforce, Hylian Shield and (if you buy it from GameStop in the US) the Ocarina of Time. For me to but this, meh, I'm not even considered a zelda fan, except for wind waker (I should play more zelda games). Also I just hate Monopoly in general” Yes, this. Monopoly is such a terrible game, as much as this is cool, I’ll never buy it. Nobody plays by the normal rules (but when you do, it’s still not good), and the game never ends, unless it’s in an argument. A good competitive game keeps all players in until the very end and then chooses a winner based on score. These sorts of games deserve so much more attention than Monopoly. People also ignore a rule that if someone doesn’t buy the property that they land on, an auction starts. This means all of the properties get sold much faster.

I’m just a curious guy, so I guess I like to understand peoples thought processes, no matter what they might be, heh.

The currency are Rupees. Houses and Hotels are Deku Sprouts and Deku Trees. Community Chest is Treasure Chest, and Chance is Empty Bottle. Income Tax is called Door Fee, Luxury Tax is the Mask Merchant. I mean, I got Game and Wario because it was the only game I didn't have, and I still haven't even played it! Chance and Community Chest cards are now Empty Bottles and Treasure Chests, while Houses are re-named as Deku Sprouts and Hotels are re-named Deku Trees. I was pumped for this until I seen the artwork. so much potential but instead they just use images from manuals. why you wouldn’t put a map of hyrule in the middle is beyond me, I’d also keep the properties/characters limited to OoT. this board is too scatered with inconsistent art styles. I appreciate all the Zelda games anf their art styles but not all on one peice of paper/gameboard.Take an opponent's token and move it to any space on the board. That player is now subject to any privileges or penalties pertaining to that space. Use this power only on your turn. Gamer Network Limited, Gateway House, 28 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1DN, United Kingdom, registered under company number 03882481. It was given to me as a present though. It’s still sealed and I can’t imagine it will ever be unsealed. Not out of some kind of misplaced collectorism mind you, just because I have no wish to make use of it. Never would have bought it. Monopoly is a better game than people give it credit for but it’s still a shitty roll and move game.
