I've always had binoculars of one type or another, but never anything either expensive or of real quality. I'd always wanted a pair of "birdwatching" binoculars though, similar to those that are always seen on the TV nature programs, etc. but having seen the price of them, I imagined them all to be in the couple of grand mark, and way out of my price range. I am delighted with Avalon 8×32 mini HD binoculars, very light and compact and great for my latest hobby, bird watching, would throughly recommend them and hope to use them on many days out. Magnification Guide

Bought these simply to watch birds feeding in our garden and the fields and copse at the rear of our house. Not a professional birdwatcher but enjoy the relaxation.These are perfect for me, light, easy to adjust and no problem with my glasses. The image will have better stabilisation: When it comes to handheld binoculars, having powerful magnification is not always a benefit. A 12x or 16x magnified image will shake significantly more than a 10x magnified image.

Lightweight, compact to mid-sized, professional level binoculars weighing only 416 grams (14.7 Oz). So, watch out for low-quality optics by listening to what the vendor says about its product. The definition of “coated” might mean one layer of anti-reflection protection per some vendors. This is usually just the top and bottom elements or the things that can be seen. The definition of “fully coated” is that all of the air on the glass surface has an anti-reflection coating. This is a good thing. The definition of “multi coated” is that some of the surfaces, normally the bottom and top one have a lot of layers of the coating. The binoculars are crystal clear and easy to use. I was unsure whether I would like the lens caps being connected to the binoculars but these work well and I am confident that they will continue to work well (not break off). Bought them for Christmas but they are so good have started using them straight away. Good for use when wearing glasses. A good clear sharp view. Have used them loads watching the birds in our garden. Can’t wait to get out on walks in the Lakes and use them more. We are fascinated by nature. We love the excitement of observing a spectacular moment, crystal clear and in perfect detail. So, it is recommended that you get a pair of binoculars that have a good amount of magnification. When you are trying to decide which pair of binoculars to get and magnification is not an issue, always go with the ones that have a wider FOV. So far I’m very happy with these binoculars. They are light weight and easy to slip into my bag. My children can hold them easy.

Bought to replace compacts binoculars that had gone astray they have become my wife’s binoculars of choice. Their light weight compared with her previous pair is a particular benefit as far as she is concerned. On the few occasions I have been allowed to use them they provide bright, clear images and are just right for our country walks. Just what I was looking for to be able to use when walking the dog.
