I have loved bareMinerals Original Mineral Foundation for years now and this concealer is taking the place right next to it. I will recommend this! Pros of bareMinerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener: bareMinerals Well Rested Eye Brightener SPF 20 helps diminish dark circles and protect skin from environmental stressors. Does it accentuate dryness? NO not if my undereyes are properly hydrated. I notice a different in how the product lays on the skin if I haven’t applied my undereye cream. Don’t expect to throw powder on dry skin without moisturizing and for it to look good!

Shade and Finish: This shade, “Well Rested” is a pale yellow-based ivory color. It indeed brightens up the area where it is applied which is why I love using this on my under eye to give it a “well rested” appearance 😛 This product comes in only one shade which I don’t see suiting all skin tones, especially those with deeper dusky skin tones as it will make you look ashy. For those with light-medium skin tones, this would work great. Light-medium skin tones can use this as a brightening/highlighting powder whereas very fair/pale skin tones can even use this as an all-over setting powder. Using your preferred powder brush swirl the brush inside the lid, absorbing a small amount of bareMinerals onto your brush The original shade is Well Rested, but they had added additional shades for other skin tones. I believe those other shades are more concealing than they are brightening and color correcting, but I am not sure on that. The yellow shade is color correcting and meant to balance out the purple darkness that undereyes typically have.I also use this to set my concealer if I’m doing a more full coverage look, but honestly that’s pretty rare for me, so typically just use this on it’s own. That said, it does layer well on top of the various concealers I’ve tried it with! My very sensitive eyes have no irritation from this product, but it accentuates every little tiny line I have around my eyes.
