About this deal

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Bear Bovver is actually on here, which was fantastic news to me and probably very few other people. Fun fact: I once played Bear Bovver on the Spectrum for so long that smoke started coming out of the power supply and we had to get it repaired. Renaming the game, eg. Bruce_Lee_j1.tap or Bruce_Lee_(j1).tap for port 1, similarly Bruce_Lee_j2.tap or Bruce_Lee_(j2).tap for port 2 Some of the games in here are even older than me – and that’s saying something – and if you don’t have much experience with early ’80s gaming and may therefore struggle to appreciate these offerings in context, you’re just going to be left with a bunch of truly archaic games that you may find difficult to get into. What exactly makes you think, the Gamepad would work under FW 1.0.6 if it doesnt work under 1.0.7 (which also has the F310 XInput/DInput supported)? It was such a clunky, unresponsive mess that it playing games with any degree of competence nearly impossible, and felt a bit like trying to wrestle a big spoon out of a frozen tub of ice cream.

On the one hand, it's cool that you can load up BASIC and use the C64 Mini as a functioning (albeit limited) computer. On the other hand, its approach to ROM loading, authentic as it may be, feels especially antiquated in 2018. THEC64 Mini - Retro Games

While a great deal of care and attention to detail has gone into the creation of the C64 Mini, we can't help but consider the retro console as something of a missed opportunity for fans.

Shoutbox

Says Atari 2600 compatible, so should work with c64. I haven't bought myself, so can not say anything about quality Add button B to up for jumping. Cut all of the wires. Then cut each non ground button trace with an exact o knife. 2 cuts 1/16 in easily pop out the section. Then attach a ground and the 5 button circuit by color.
