The OEMTOOLS Carbon Gasket Scraper Set scrapes surfaces clean for installing new gaskets. Set includes a 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2" Scraper with Chemical and Impact Resistant Acetate Handles. Something else to consider: Most scrapers are designed with one beveled edge. The beveled edge of the scraper should face down toward the work surface (we’ve got pics of that below). This provides more control over the tool, plus it helps to prevent damage to the piece you’re scraping. Fair enough, but what about conventional hand tools? It's cool when you can use tools that work as designed, and this gasket scraper is better than any I have used, and I've been a tech for over 30 years. The brass blade allows you to be a bit agressive with stubborn gaskets, but doesn't dig into aluminum gasket surfaces like razor blades or other steel scrapers. Great tool! Simple "firmer" style bevelled points with longer head lengths allow for scrapers to be re-ground several times for maximum service life
