About this deal

This fitness bench has a solid and triangular design. Besides, its padded surface gives you an easy base to perform even the most hectic exercises at your own pace. The strength of a foldable bench is essential so you can use it for a long time. Moreover, a robust unit should be made with durable material and have a stable structure. No one wishes to break the bench within a week of training and cry over a wasted investment. Moreover, most foldable benches are pretty durable to support your weight. Some units also come with foam rollers on their legs for easy transportation. In short, a folding weight bench is quite an efficient companion for all kinds of exercises at home. The JX Fitness weight bench is one of the more budget friendly options but it has a good level of versatility, excellent build quality for the money and is well suited to daily use (but not in a commercial setting). When it comes to value for money, the JX Fitness bench cannot be beaten which is why it goes straight to the top of our list. It is compact, at 114cm x 42cm x 42cm, and folds down to 112cm x 42cm x 22cm, so is incredibly easy to live with and store away. In fact, it’s one of the easiest models to fold up that I’ve come across. The cushions are good quality – padded, tough, and easily wiped down after use (if, like me, you’re a sweater, this is a must!).

This bench has small wheels. When you lay it flat, you can wheel it into place. If you have owned a bench without wheels, you might already know the hassles of moving your bench around every time you want to switch workout. If you already own a set of dumbbells, adding a weight training bench will expand the number of moves you can do with your weights during your home workouts. Your domestic training won’t just go up a notch with bench pressing, but also skull crushers, flyes, and many other exercises. No gym is complete without a weight bench. If you’re a beginner or never thought about a home gym, it can be quite confusing figuring out what weight bench will best suit your needs. A folding weight bench isn’t a tool for young adults only. It can also be utilised by your senior family members or people with poor mobility. First, the downsides. This is not a bench for big and tall guys to bust out their chest-press personal bests. The faux leather seat is a little narrow, and maximum load is a modest 120kg. But if you’re a barbell beginner wanting to push your home gym routine beyond dumbbells, then this inexpensive utility bench could be a really smart buy.

Athlyt Adjustable Weight Bench

The cube is cleverly designed to be used in various ways and even features built in resistance bands for up to 7kg of added weight. At just 43.5cm x 38cm it is pretty compact and given that it potentially replaces up to 10 pieces of exercise equipment it is well worth the investment – it can even double up as a seat or a table. Broadly speaking, there are three different styles of bench. Each one will fit a particular set of goals, so you will need to work out what you want from a bench before choosing.

If your height is between 5’4” and 5’9”, you don’t have much to worry about the bench’s height. This height range is ideal for almost every workout bench because they usually range from 17” to 18”. However, if you’re taller or shorter than this height range, I recommend you pay more attention to the height of the bench you plan to buy. Assembly is required and you’ll need a range of spanners that aren’t included – 19mm, 17mm and 14mm.As well as being lightweight, the Athlyt Adjustable Weight Bench is also completely foldable, making it very easy to store and even travel with, if needed. However, it’s not a good idea to load it over around 160-70kg as, being so light, it cannot take a great deal of weight. The Flybird measures 80cm in length, 32cm in width, and 30 in height, which means that you can fold it and store it under your bet with ease once you’re done with your workout. What’s more, it’s easy to carry, and there’s no assembly needed. There’re three types of weight benches, and which one you’ll choose for your gym is totally up to you. However, one type may be better than another if you want to hit all the muscles. So, let’s dive into the differences of weight benches. Flat Weight Bench

However, they are not exactly unobtrusive. Some exercise equipment, such as resistance bands and ab wheels, can simply be thrown in a spare drawer when not in use. What do you do with a whopping great bench if you don’t have dedicated gym space? As an example, I weigh around 90kg, with a little fluctuation as my training schedule requires. On a good day, strapped, wrapped and belted, I can get a couple of reps out of a 150kg bench press with good form. On any other day, I can push more than 110kg for reps without much of an issue. This means that I’m going far beyond the Folding Weight Bench’s upper weight limit with pretty much any bench session I run through – and I’m not even that big or strong. It’s great to see a low-cost bench that includes the all-important near vertical or full 90 for seated shoulder presses. You’d be surprised how many benches only adjust to a max of 70 degrees which is too low to hit the shoulder hard. For starters, you get a weight bench. As above, this opens up a lot of possibilities for your resistance training. Adjustable weight benches, aka utility weight benches, are adjustable and can be used by beginners and advanced lifters. These benches allow for a wider range of exercise, so you hit all the muscle groups while working your pecs and shoulders. Example of an Adjustable Weight Bench Sometimes this will be price. A folding bench will generally be more expensive than an equivalent quality static bench. You will get the same level of workout comfort and support, the same stability, longevity and robustness, but will pay a lot more for the privilege. The soft PU leather is comfortable and smooth, with decent padding. In fact, everything here seems to have been designed with comfort in mind. If you like a little luxury as you sweat, benches like this will be perfect for you.

The 10 levels of magnetic resistance are similar to what you would expect to find on a machine at a professional gym and although the overall build quality is not gym standard it doesn’t need to be as it won’t be used all day every day. The R200 features an advanced driving belt system and also has a 7 function LCD monitor that displays calorie information, distance and time. A flat weight bench is just what its name suggests – flat and can’t be adjusted. It’s the cheapest type of weight bench, so if you’re on a tight budget, this may be the best choice. The WINNOW bench comes with a carrying handle. That’s quite a unique feature and helps to carry the unit anywhere around your house. Moreover, this tool folds up into a compact piece of equipment that you can easily store under your bed.
