Ok, so recalling my reading experience for this book i remembered i had a really mysterious feeling while reading and now I get it why, it's because there are barely any humans like only 2 or 3 humans who talk and rest are monsters or robots..... His most recent fiction title, The World’s Worst Children, published on 19th May 2016 sold over 340,000 copies in the UK alone. It went straight to No. 1 on release where it stayed for 4 weeks and also concurred Children’s Books charts, where it stayed at No.1 for 7 weeks. Internationally sales continue to thrive, The World’s Worst Children also went straight to No. 1 in the Australian children’s chart and remained there for three consecutive weeks and reached the No. 1 in the overall book chart in New Zealand. I read this with a nine year old girl and even she realised how stupid the plot was. She kept asking sensible questions like why a girl climbing up a drainpipe was suddenly on the ground, how a child who hadn’t eaten in days could stay up night after night without getting tired, or why she was suddenly best friends with a boy she met briefly at one breakfast?

This is another mess of a book by David Walliams, there are some good ideas but as a whole it doesn’t really work. Okay, I'm going to be kind with this one, I'm an adult reading a book intended for young kids and the one thing which irritated me is probably entertaining for children.I certainly loved reading it, it reminded me of the books I read growing up (I used to love reading Roald Dahl). This book certainly adds some excitement to reading and might engage even the most reluctant of reluctant readers. As a brand, The World of David Walliams continues to grow: export sales have increased by 77% year on year with growth in every single market and David’s books are published in over 49 languages.
