Britney Spears is another celebrity to get her name on a perfume bottle. Other well-known celebrities have made their own fragrance too, such as Celine Dion, Sarah Jessica Parker and Paris Hilton. The list is long, and there will be more to come. The main note is brown sugar which is much warmer than the white sugary notes used in some of her previous fragrances. That’s exactly what’s happened with Midnight Fantasy, Britney Spears’ fourth fragrance release and one of the best-selling fragrances in her collection. Created in 2006 by Caroline Sabas, it’s definitely a sweet, fruit bomb of a scent. As the name and branding would suggest, Britney Spears Fantasy in Bloom is a Japanese cherry blossom fragrance. The iconic original Britney Spears Fantasy perfume comes in a bright pink bottle with green diamonds on. This fragrance has a heliotrope, jasmine and pink pepper. It comes across as more grown-up than many of her sweeter or fruitier fragrances. The bottle is a round orb, in keeping with the rest of the Fantasy line, however this time dark blue with lighter blue Swarovski crystals for a little decorative edge. It’s a very fruity, sexy scent, and makes me think that it’s the perfect perfume for a romantic date night dancing in the tropics. I would say due to the sweetness, it skews younger and is more of a spring or summertime scent. Britney Spears Fantasy Sheer is another new release in the Fantasy perfume line which doesn’t have any new promotional pictures of Britney.The Fantasy Naught Remix takes the sweet notes from original Fantasy, focusing on the vanilla cupcake vibes the perfume is known for. Britney Spears Jungle Fantasy is a fresh watermelon fragrance which is light and uplifting. Even though the fragrance notes state that it includes a cup cake note, I don’t get any of the sweetness of the original Fantasy perfume. Instead, I find Jungle Fantasy fades to become a subtle floral fragrance, where the water lily and violet leaf linger on the skin. This is a fruity peach scent accompanied with fresh fruity notes like green apple, mandarin and raspberry. Red berries accompany the cherry blossom note (this is a very common combination) which brings out the slight sweetness that cherry blossom has. There is a hint of mandarin orange and osmanthus which both nicely compliment and ‘hold up’ the cherry blossom. The second fragrance to be released in the Fantasy range, Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy is my personal favourite in the range.

A limited edition fragrance under the Fantasy umbrella. It is a sexy and mischievous fragrance with the strapline Magic begins at Midnight. Features It’s a softer and lighter version of original Fantasy. I think this is ideal if you like the scent of Fantasy but found it too strong. I do wonder to what extent, if any at all, Britney was involved in this new perfume release.If fragrances were judged by bottles alone, Believe would be my hands-down favorite. It’s a sharp, angular break from the pretty, girly bottles of most of her perfume line and similarly, the fragrance is less sweet and girly as well.
