About this deal

Almost two yes later in 2016, Nikon Vision Co. Ltd, introduced another new series again into the market, called the Nikon Prostaff 3s binoculars. The models released were the 8×42 and 10×42 models and they became the latest addition to the Prostaff series. Maybe I guess is because of the much popularity the previous series had gained. After, these releases, most of us have been wondering what exactly is the difference between the Nikon Prostaff 3s and the Nikon Prostaff 7s. Today, I have a look at the Nikon Prostaff 3s vs 7s Binoculars full size( 8×42 and 10×42 models) for you to know them more. This bright, sharp, and reliable model from the Olympus Pro lineup (a new 8x42 version is also available) feature nano coating for the first time in the range. Olympus is renowned for its optical expertise, so it’s no surprise that we get the same high-performance Zuiko optics that it deploys with its camera systems. Indeed, the claim here is these binoculars' optics offer unprecedented light transmittance for their class. These high-powered binoculars also feature fully waterproof housing, interchangeable eyecups, superior wide-angle viewing, and are fogproof to protect against internal fogging in differing ambient temperatures.

Nikon has been around since 1917. It was founded after the merger of three optical manufacturers, aiming to create a fully integrated optical company. As they say, the rest is history.

The biggest thing I'm liking now is that this binocular is just darn comfortable to look through, even with eyeglasses! The binocular is extremely well balanced and lightweight, even soo more than my Vortex Viper 10x. The ergonomics are perfect, and I would say it has a good designed eyecups + eyerelief. I would also say collimation is 100% perfect, as I can look through it many minutes on end with no eye strain or headaches. Exit pupils are nice and round.

Featuring environmentally-friendly materials such as lead-free glass, the Canon 12x36 Image Stabilization III Binoculars (Canon 12x36 IS III) are high in price but also notably high in quality. They will offer the stars crystal clear in viewing at 12x magnification and an image stabilization feature that can help prevent shaky images. These binoculars can be used in inclement weather too being both waterproof and fogproof so observers can move from hot and cold climes (like in and out of vehicles and houses) without the need to wait for the glass to warm or cool. A good footrest is as important to comfort as the chair you sit in, and Secretlab’s Professional Footrest is ideal for home or office use Prostaff 3s wider field of view offers an advantage in that it helps you spot things more easily without moving your optics equipment too much. The last noteworthy feature relating to the lenses is the exit pupil. Here, the Prostaff 7s and 3s have similar sizes, that is, 5.3 mm for 8×42 models and 4.2 mm for 10×42 models.Stargazing binoculars don't come much more perfect than these. The Celestron SkyMaster Pro 20x80 binoculars have huge magnification and massive objective lenses to get you closer to dimmer objects than almost any other binocular in our guide. First up, you'll need a binocular with a large objective lens — this is the glass end that points towards the sky. Large objective lenses mean more light particles (photons) heading down the barrel and into your eyes, so you should get bigger, brighter views.

While build quality is impressive, with plenty of depth of field provided and images sharp and clear in the main, we did notice a slight drop off in sharpness towards the edges. Despite the extra heft we also feel upgrading to a 12x magnification from a 10x magnification is worth it if long(er) distance observation is desirable. The Prostaff 7s is a very capable binocular at that price, with a wider view and better colour and contrast. I have the nikon monarch 7 8x42 and what I like about it is the wider field of view and colour contrast.
