About this deal

Former Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard joined by friends to show off incredible physique in lacey catwoman outfit for Halloween When Sinfield ran seven marathons in seven days last December, on behalf of the Burrow family and the fight against MND, Rob said: “We all need a friend like Kevin.” Kev Sinfield, my old Rhinos captain, asked if anything was up with me. A couple of the other lads thought I’d been drinking. The book helped me understand how much Rob still wants to be treated normally. And so even after we talk about difficult subjects he tells me about his enduring love of The Office and how he watched Line of Duty with Lindsey while “trying to work out who ‘H’ was before the final episode – to no avail. I loved watching it with Lindsey because she never has a spare minute. Lindsey seems to do the work of three people during every long day which starts for her at 5.30am and ends near midnight. But, as she explains, “It keeps your mind off things. When I sit down on the bad days and think: ‘Actually this is happening, this is our life,’ it hits you. But the kids keep us busy and there’s never a dull moment, is there, Rob? I’d much rather that than feeling sorry for myself.

Former QPR co-owner Tony Fernandes is slammed as 'unprofessional' for getting a half-naked massage during a WORK MEETING Reading and literacy are so important. It doesn’t matter what your disability is, reading is accessible to everyone. Anyone can enjoy reading and develop a love of books and bedtime stories, just like me and my family."There is a lot about his childhood and his determination to play rugby even though everyone thought he was too small. Not being a lover of rugby, I probably didn’t appreciate those parts as much as someone who is a lover of the sport would do but there are various funny moments throughout his career with his constant pranks with his team mates that made it compelling reading. But my suffering as a fan is small potatoes compared to what Rob Burrow and his family have faced through the last couple of years. I think it says a lot about the rugby league community that despite our team rivalries, we'll always look after our own when it comes down to it. Rob mentions that so many fans of other teams have gone on to pass on their well-wishes, give him money, even do their own ridiculous challenges to raise awareness for his cause. To Rob, and his family, thank you for bravely sharing your story, for raising awareness of MND, and for allowing the world to see how motor neurone disease affects thousands of families in the UK, every single day. Me doing an interview is nothing compared to what Rob and many other sufferers go through, it puts it into perspective and, if we can help one other person or raise more awareness and more funds for research, it can only be a good thing. So this isn't really about sporting rivalries, and it's not really about us fans, though naturally Rob does mention the fanbase and community as you can't NOT when you speak about rugby league.

Admittedly, I am a rugby league fan (Wigan supporter), and one of many who described Rob as that annoying little beeeeeep! He did disproportionate damage to opponents! Now an MND Association Patron, Rob is one of an estimated 5,000 adults in the UK currently living with MND. Every day, an average of six people are diagnosed with MND. The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, funding research, and campaigning for people living with, or affected by, MND.Jordan Henderson reveals he was unaware of England fans booing him during clash with Australia until after the match - and admits the jeers HURT

He gives a really powerful message for everyone to enjoy every day and live for every moment. The reason for doing this is to raise awareness about how brutal and cruel and devastating MND is and that it doesn't just affect the person, it affects the whole family. Real Madrid players rally around Vinicius Junior on social media after the forward was racially abused by multiple Sevilla fans during LaLiga draw Lindsey sits with us as we approach the end of another moving interview. We have shared an unexpected amount of laughter as this extraordinary couple set me at ease despite Rob’s harrowing illness. Over the past few weeks we have found a pattern for our interviews. While Rob methodically types his answers, Lindsey chats to me. It is like conducting two contrasting interviews simultaneously but they make it easy. “Oh yes, he’s used to me talking every minute anyway,” Lindsey says with a laugh when I ask if Rob can concentrate while we talk. But I always worried about the long-term effects of concussion. He played games and he was not able to remember scoring tries or he didn’t know the score afterwards. So I worried about Rob getting some form of dementia or Alzheimer’s – which is irrelevant now.” Burrow has been described as one of the greatest rugby league players of all time. At only 5'4" tall and weighing 70kg at his peak, he was half the weight of some other team mates. But during his time at Leeds he was the multiple winner of the Super League, Challenge Cup, World Cup Challenge, League Leader's Shield and the Harry Sunderland man of the match trophy in 2007 and 2011.
