Been waiting on this guy for a while and it does not disappoint! Far cheaper than trying to chase down a WFC figure and to be honest, this actually looks far more Ironhide in my opinion. Robot mode and van mode are both excellent with some small gripes here and there but nothing to actually complain about. Transformation is simple enough but it does require everything to be in exactly right place or tabs keeps popping open. Small gripes are the exposed should hinges in van mode and the (to me anyway) stubby feet in Bot mode. I probably never will get Trailbreaker as I was always a Hoist guy, as well as Sunstreaker, Huffer, Skids etc. they just aren't needed in my case. As Seen In Parks" Megatron was officially exclusive to Universal Studios, but was released (almost a year after he had been officially revealed) in Hasbro's Asian markets first. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the toy was only released exclusively to online retailers in the U.S. This item is currently scheduled for release, but is not yet available at mass retail. Hatchet, Hound I think that the colors will be more uniform at retail. Or at least, from one piece to the other as seen on the roof that he pointed out. I also think that maybe they ran or assembled pieces from both tooling for this and that's why there's the two tabs on top of the van. Those might be pieces from the Ratchet version and were never meant for Ironhide. Also there's no way they can't or won't budget in the yellow stripe. If they managed to sell Earthrise Ironhide at deluxe then they can budget in that yellow stripe for SS86 Ironhide and maybe even another gun. But really though, Earthrise Ironhide himself should be a voyager due to that added roof. Siege Ironhide was large for a deluxe even if it was stretched out like Impactor was but then they put in the roof piece which added another 7 parts at least to the total as well as the additional paint that was required.

The guns aren't actually unique to Ratchet. It's a generic blaster model that practically every Autobot whose toy didn't come with its own handgun wielded at least once in the animation. Same logic went into the decision to sell Bluestreak. I kept Siege Bluestreak b/c, really, he doesn't look that alien (he looks like a near-future Mercedes) so I can have him, ER Smokescreen, and IDW Proql together in the same battle scene and feel like I have all the characters but in distinct forms. BUT, when I decided to do that I underestimated the allure of completing the season 1/season 2 Autobots in a cohesive aesthetic.
