About this deal

hey, i would like to ask what zowie mouse should i get if my hands are 19/9 to 9.5-ish and built for a relaxed claw grip? That’s really an impossible question to answer without knowing things like your hand size, grip style, and some preferences. If you like the more neutral shape of the S2 it’s probably a good bet to try the FK series, but do note that those are a lot flatter than the S, which has a bit of a hump to it. We have articles on the different Zowie mice if you’re interested: The S2-Cis one of the better ambidextrous mice out there if you’re looking for a smaller/shorter mouse of this type for your competitive gaming fix and it’s one that you should definitely take a look at if you’re in the market for an ambidextrous mouse. Doubly so because the S shape hasn’t been copied to death like Zowie’s FK and EC lines, meaning that it’s still rather unique in today’s market. I guess it depends on your grip style. I have 19x10cm and use a claw grip where the mouse is usually 45 degree angled and takes support from the right side of my palm, and the G100s is my dream shape. As always, you should take this section with a grain of salt. Us reviewers can only give you a rough guideline when it comes to grip and size compatibility. You might have huge hands and prefer smaller mice, for example, or you might be a fingertip gripper who likes ergonomic mice. All these ‘grip/hand size guides’ should be used as a baseline. So the S2 is the way to go ? Or even the ZA13/ZA12, as long as the mouse is not as big as the Deathadder or G502. Sensor + Weight: The 3360 has always been flawless for me on all mice using it. I'd categorize this mouse as medium weight, while it isn't as light as I'd like it to be it's still a very balanced weight that I never felt was a hindrance, I really like how it feels after installing a paracord. 8/10 Zowie is still using the 3360 in their mice. That’s an older one but if you ask me it doesn’t really matter. It’s a flawless sensor either way. I found no traces of any malfunctions during my testing either, so Zowie has implemented it well if you’re asking me. If you like everything that you’re reading here but you have larger hands then you can always steer towards the S1 model, which is the exact same as the S2 but with slightly larger dimensions. A lot of people (myself included) weren’t really fans of the glossy/matte mixture that Zowie were using on their newer standard models so it’s good to see that they have improved on this coating. I included a picture comparing the S2 almost fresh out of the box to a barely used EC2-B to illustrate this difference. With both coatings in mint condition it’s clear to see that something has changed. I've been loving the access I've had to so many different kinds of Zowie mice. I started out with large mice thinking my FK1 was too small but after trying some of the smaller mice like the EC2-B and the S2 I definitely prefer the maneuverability I have with these. The product image is for illustration purposes only. The actual product may vary in size, color, and layout. No claim will be accepted for an image mismatch. In recent times, however, the brand had fallen behind the ‘market standard’ a bit. In a world where lightweight mice, complete with shoelace-like cables are commonplace it could be argued that Zowie was resting on their laurels a bit. With the release of the C series of mice that discussion seems to be well and truly put to bed. This is Zowie’s way of bringing their mice up to par without ignoring what has made them so well-loved among competitive gamers in the first place.

ZOWIE Optical Gaming Mouse (USB/Blue/3200Dpi/5 Buttons) - S2

Zowie has always included replacement feet in the box, and I always take the time to applaud them (and other brands who do this) for that. If you’re a competitive gamer you’re likely to pay attention to factors such as the glide of your mouse feet, and having the peace of mind knowing that you can just swap out your feet once they start degrading (this will happen to all mouse feet) is great. These days, Zowie also sell their own ‘speed skates’ if you prefer a faster glide. Shape, Coating, and Mouse Feet Something that I haven’t seen you mention is the Endgame Gear XM1. That’s a great mouse for claw/fingertip grip as well and might be right up your alley as far as size is concerned. It’s got a flawless sensor, great cable, it’s light, … It’s a really good gaming mouse but often flies under the radar.

The Humps of Symmetrical Mice

This type of scroll wheel will always be a bit polarizing (some people absolutely love it while others hate it entirely) but I can’t say that it’s badly implemented or anything like that. Build Quality and Cable Hi, I got 8cm by 18cm and using more like palm grip with a bit Claw grip while awping I choosing between the s1 and s2 and need some help. There’s no rattling, squeaking or any give to the shell when doing the usual ‘shake and pressure’ tests so when it comes to build quality the S2 is as solid as can be.
