this was fun and just what i needed. i listened to this on audio and read it physically (the audio is kinda shit but i'm lazy). and i was pretty immediately interested. let's talk about what worked: If I look past any reservations I may have, I can admit it’s pretty thrilling to think that Alex has no idea I’m even here. Then again, he’s never really known exactly where I’ve been. He thinks I still live in New Jersey, because I never bothered to change my profile online when we moved to DC. But as I stealthily scope him out while hiding behind a sunny CALIFORNIA DREAMERS! sign, I realize that the one thing I didn’t expect was for my dad to be so . . . happy.

But a lot changes in a year, and now that Mom and Nate are fighting constantly, it’s time for me to exit the picture. That’s the thing about being an evader. You have to be flexible and know when to bail before it all gets weird. Better for everyone, really. I’m a giver.I love love it!!! This book was so hyped up when I first join bookstagram & now I understand why. It’s so cute & sweet! The fact that readers know that the whole time it’s Porter being Alex is exciting. The waiting game to see what will happen when Porter tell the truth to Bailey about him being Alex is painful😩! I especially love when Porter annoy Bailey😂The way they pretend to hate each other while actually falling for each other, arghhh💘Porter is so cute & the fact that Bailey fall for him doing that is perfect! Both Bailey & Porter been through a painful experience hence when the author makes them both fall in love is such a great story! I truly recommend yall to read this one❤️

Genre: Teen & Young Adult Fiction about New Experiences, Teen & Young Adult Contemporary Romance, Teen & Young Adult Humorous Fiction the plot, pacing, and setting were all fantastic. the plot was 2 separate ones interwoven which worked fantastically well and kept things interesting. the pacing never lagged. and the setting made me feel like i was there on the beach in california.I want to spend the rest of my life searching for You’ve Got Mail retellings and reading them. I will be MORE than content with my life. UPDATE: I just finished watching YOU'VE GOT MAIL AND AHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD SOMEONE FANGIRL WITH ME. I'm so frigging ready to read this book now.

I really enjoyed the characters and the cheesy museum workplace. I remember this book being compared to the movie YOU’VE GOT MAIL, and I hoped for a cool reveal moment like that.
