Allah wants to refine us, out of His love and mercy, so that we can attain not just Paradise but the highest rank of the Prophets and the righteous. Tests expose our faults and weaknesses to ourselves—and that awareness enables us to be more focused and proactive in rectifying those aspects of our character. This verse tells us to uphold the rights of orphans and to remember that their Prophet (saw) too was born an orphan. Do not harm orphans and do not look down upon them. If you are given responsibility for their property then fulfil this responsibility with excellence and give them from your own wealth. Do not take advantage of their weakness and do not think that they have no supporters. Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, ‘Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him’ So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: ‘Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.’ So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth.” Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 7485 In-book reference : Book 97, Hadith 111

When a person inculcates the habit of acting for the sake of another entity, they slowly begin to love that entity. It is for this reason that servants and workers love the kings, royals and rulers they serve, because they have inculcated the habit of working for their sake and serving them … Thus, one who strives to inculcate within themselves the divine attributes will generate divine love in their heart according to the extent that they begin to resemble God Almighty.” (Ibid., pp. 196) 10. It is part of human nature for a person to develop love for wealth, ambitions, spouse and children, but the highest form of love is to love of Allah s.w.t. Everything that we do in this world should be aligned with the intention to attain Allah’s pleasure.Allah is God. He is the one true God but many people are not aware of that and even those who are aware do not show Him the gratitude and thankfulness He deserves. Allah is the Arabic word for God. To be a Muslim you have to testify that there is only one God, that is the first pillar of faith (Shahadah), the other pillars of faith are Prayer (Salat), Zakat (Charity), Fasting (Sawm), Pilgrimage (Hajj). Muslims worship the God of all the messengers of God, such as Adam, Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), Sulaiman (Solomon), Dawud (David), Isa (Jesus), and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). Allah has 99 names, the names are also called 99 attributes of Allah. Allah is the Greatest. He is The Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate, The Most Gracious, The All-Loving, The Most-Loving. He is our Creator who we must worship so that we attain Paradise. This life is a test, Allah created us out of love and we will be recompensed on the Day of Judgement. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” (Quran60:8) Those Who Fear Allah And Obey His Messenger One means to attain divine love is that one should try to make Allah a shield in every matter and issue. One should forsake evil, not for the sake of it being evil, but rather for Allah’s sake. This is the definition of taqwa [true fear of Allah].

O mankind, be mindful of your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, an Observer Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” Qur’an 5:32 In this house. We are true. We make mistakes. We say I’m sorry. We love Allah. We have fun. We show kindness. We forgive. We are patient. We practise Islam. We show mercy. We love.
