Oud has always been one of those notes that offended me by just existing. Any and all perfumes that held this note were just “not it”. Trust me, I have tried, but it always reeked of a damp forest with elements of burnt branches. Same goes with the ‘rose’ note: offending. Old people wear rose perfumes, not a 30-something year old. Edit to add after 6 hours of wear: The dry down after a few hours is -to my nose- VERY similar to Oriana by PDM! Which is odd, because they are nothing alike in the notes. Beautiful blend of rose and vanilla, so delicious, very good quality and this is amber based. With this you can't go wrong. Not too sweet, not too much rose. The most unisex of all these perfumes mentioned. Sometimes this is like Oud For Greatness added with rose and sometimes vanilla comes more through. Sometimes this even feels smoky but not in tobacco kind of way.

This smells exactly like a baby shampoo called Dalin. It was the first thing came to my mind and every time I wear it, I still thinks the same. This is cloyingly vanillic and it makes it hard for me to wear as a man. Rose is prominent but vanilla is the main note. Like jammiest rose ever. For the people that don't get why some people get that baby wipes smell, get a small sample and smell it straight from the bottle and you might understand lol. Amazing quality rose-out but without vanilla. (Nothing to do with those others but just to mention this choice for rose/oud). This was a must have for me and nice addition to obvious rose-vanilla combos. I enjoy the scent very much. It's sweet sugary, syrupy rose. You just can't stop inhaling the scent.
